If you're looking for a serious manga then get out.

Think about Doraemon, Yotsubato, Sunday Comics, etc.
Well that is the overall feel for this manga. One you could read over and over again without worries, just pure entertainment and has an actual lessons to it too.
In fact there is character development.

As for the art, it's very comical. It fits the story. And honestly, if it wasn't for the style It would be less funny so the art is a plus story wise. So I don't get the complains. I mean, do you guys complain about Doreamon's art, nope. Because it fits.

An adorable little manga. It's should make you laugh a lot and the characters are pretty entertaining to watch. The narrative style is similar to Yotsubato, plain and simple but very heartwarming and funny in it's simplicity.

I really liked this manga... despite the art being less than refine, it was very charming in its own way. After a while, I actually kinda liked it even.

The characters are very likable and the story is pretty funny.
I'd glad I decided to give this a chance instead of passing it up just because of the art.

The characters is simpleminded, the story simple, the art is even more simple, the romance is simple and weird. It's just a simple manga that make u lol and pass time.

Well what can be said about this manga is that it is very heart warming and light hearted read. No twists and turns, and no dramatic complications. Just a story about how to people fall in love and how their relationship develops throughout their 3 years of high school. The story starts out with alot of humour in the first volumes but then focuses more on the development of the main characters relationship. The one different aspect (don't want to say bad) is the art that requires some getting used to. If you are looking for a fun love story to pass the time and don't mind the unusual art then Love Roma is the manga for you. I give this a 7 rating just because in all fairness the plot leaves much to be desired and o course the art.

I actually thought the character design was decent. But the mangaka had crude, thick lines, and the characters' faces literally looked distorted or different in every panel (This was improved later on). Sure, this manga managed to avoid every cliche in the shoujo world, but that didn't make it interesting. There was rarely any conflict because everything was easily and quickly solved by the simple and straight-forward leads in this book; and maybe that's more realistic.

There were suggested mature themes in this book, but the art is a tad bit too simple and childish to put 'sex' in this manga. It just...doesn't work for the amusement of the reader. How Hoshino boldly expressed his desires to Negi...was really awkward.

Definitely unique, but not exactly in a good way. This manga gives you some laughs, but I just can't say...it was my cup of tea.

Ok just to start this out.... dont be fooled by the art, even tho its a little weird, u wont question it at all after a while. The art is umm special but the hilarious/romantic storyline makes up for it and more. the lead male (Hoshino) is the most straightforward guy u will ever find in the world. saying blunt stuff like "wanna have sex?"right in front of a crowd this manga will make u laugh a lot u MUST read it.

In the beginnig, I didn't have any feeling that want to read this because I don't like this drawing style. But this time I am bored so I give it a try and I recovery that this is very funny very hilarious and addictive. The characters development is very good. The main male character is the importance role that make it's very funny and I have never seen this type of male leading character before. And The main female lead character is a good receive gag. When combine this couple it make a very good hilarious story. The words that this couple said, it touch my heart. There're many scene that make my heart warming with the sentence that hoshino or negishi said. The story doesn't has any serious matter that can make I laugh but when I read every chapters, I must laugh once or more than that.

Great heart-warming & hilarious story that all I can say.

Now I feel delight that I don't ignore and read it.

Excelent series! Really original and funny, no cliches or stupid plot twists, just an every day life story. Worth your time (even if u are a boy or a girl) and entertaining, i recommend it to everyone!
