All Around Great Manga

The art is a 7, but I give the story a 10 and so are the characters. This was a refreshing change from the usual yaoi I came across, since Ryouma not only say he cares about Izuma's feelings towards him but shows it by not engaging in emotionless sex, despite Izuma's supposedly being "alright" with it. It also has some really funny moments. The Izuma and Ryouma couch scene was priceless. I almost feel out of my chair when Shougo cut in like he did. Even Re is likable character. Izuma's parents are the only characters I find really fustrating since they seem to be only interested in their own career advancement than having having concern for their son, who, by the way, makes a awesome looking chick.

Better than I expected

Honestly, the fact that Izumi looks so much like a girl really turned me off from this story. But I liked the summary, so I decided to read on and I did not regret. smile It is a refreshing yaoi manga for me. The main characters did not immediately jump into the sex and stuff like that. Izumi is absolutely funny and adorable. I actually like his character. smile Ryouma is more different than I thought too. I thought he would just be the cool actor type, but his personality is really funny x) I love his honesty, lol, and his burst of cries, LOL. It makes him look more lame, but more lovable. biggrin I'm actually glad that he's not the typical 'cool and calm' type. smile
Anyways, this story so far have made me laugh a lot. and I like it a lot for its freshness. I hope it continues to be that way. smile

AMAZING YAOI.

I was always kind of borderline with yaoi, mostly into one-shot NaruSasu stuff, BUT THIS MANGA TAKES THE CAKE. I LOVE this yaoi! And waiting for chapter 17 is the utter WORST spot to stop at. ; n ; I really love Ryouma and his personality is soooo funny. xD Izumi can be a little clutz at times but his reasoning and personality is hilarious as well! And I'm REALLY fond of his otaku-ness. xD

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I was really worried about Shougo being in some type of triangle with the lead and Ryouma, as he was on the cover of the first few chapters, but I'm so pleased he's not!

I love this yaoi and honestly Ryouma is the best guy ever. So funny. Some scenes are a little repetitive (like the spontaneous kissing) and thus lose their impact, but still, maybe because I am new to the yaoi fandom, I love this manga. wink

Chapter 2 page 15 = one of the funniest moments I've ever read.

Now, seriously. I had a lot of fun reading this. Of course, the art is great, the characters are funny; but it's also quite original I think. The plot first made me think it was quite classic yaoi, but it turned out...differently somehow. Both main characters are incredibly cute in their own way, and you get the bonus of a few hotter scenes smile

I'm really curious to see where it goes!

Read it

It's basically a mixing pot of shoujo cliches with a generous dollop of Yaoi added in. I think its quite cute, and very funny. However, cliches are prevalent throughout, and not all of the characters are like able.

The seme, though he is rude toward the uke at first, soon adopts a refreshingly respectful attitude that is maintained throughout. The uke is weird and his motives are sometimes hard to understand, but he's a funny character.

It's not a super great manga, basically a fluffy, soft, yaoi version of skip beat.

The art is catchy, the story grows on you. I like that the guy is an otaku, rich and does not have any of the 'poor me i got no money' vibe. This is the 'rich and famous' manga. It could be a parody of Skip Beat too, or the BL counterpart. So... I love it!

Give it up for Ryouma for trying his hardest to get Izumi to like him back, because that kid is d-e-n-s-e.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
So in chapter ten, when Ryouma kisses him, and Izumi blushes, I was like, finally.
But the characters are well-developed and the plot isn't bad either, a twist on the actors/showbiz concept. The art is beautiful as always.

This is one of those guilty pleasure manga. The art is gorgeous and the characters are adorable. The plot is extremely silly to the point of being ridiculous.

Its worth experiencing if you really enjoy yaoi drawn to be very pretty. I've finished the anime as well and I remember enjoying the manga much more. I didnt like the English voice casting for Izumi.

This manga is laugh-out-loud hilarious! We've well-rounded characters, and we're highlighted with their good and not-so-good sides without being apologetic about it. It was also refreshing to see the brothers actually take after their parents not just in looks, but personalities as well.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
There's also a subtle play of the power dynamics between the uke and seme (much like its counterpart, Back Stage!!, but certainly more defined in that story) even with Izumi being as uke!cliche as you can get.
