Man I'm loving reading this but i almost followed this manga from the very beginning and it's pretty interesting but one thing that is constantly breaking my head is that this manga is probably gonna be axed because the it almost doesn't advance on the chapters(8 pages almost every time) and the story is about a guy getting 14 girls but until the chapter i read he didn't have is first yet, but of course im imploting that it doesn't go axed.
So for me i think i am going to until this is more advanced.
But if you are people that like ecchi,comedy and romance and have a little of a good time i would recommend it to read.

The aunt is quite cold and without personality. Considering how she is going to take up much of the storyline, it would be good if she developed a character sooner than later. I hope this manga doesn't go into incestuous territory. There could be really interesting plotlines of the aunt trying to help the kid and so forth but she ends up messing it up for him. Anyways, really good art (albeit a bit sketch-like), but a solid beginning. It is too early to tell, but this manga has potential.

Judging from the first 4 chapters, I really think this is a nice read given that im kind of into incest tagged manga but havent really read a lot of it. The story is about a guy being experimented by his aunt(HOT not to mention) to make a total of 14 women fall inlove with him to have sex with. This is a conquest type of manga, I presume. If the author would play with the plot the right way, this will top my list. Caution for readers though, be prepared for a shady past cause I can smell it a mile away. But anyway, every chapter is more or less only 8 pages which is really frustrating.. But if every chapter is plot developing, then I wouldn't mind it.

Bottom line, if you're into ero-conquest, incest, comedy and such, this is for you but I guess it is too early to make a proper tag for this manga. Even so, I recommend this!

I'll be brief: Very short chapters, slow plot development, the main character doesn't look girly even though the plot revolves around that supposed "fact". 6 chapters into the manga and I still feel no attachment to the characters. It's been random mediocre ecchi scenes and dull dialogue so far.

EDIT: Ok now this is just frikkin ridiculous. A mere 7 pages per week of shitty dialogue, recycled ecchi scenes and barely a shred of plot development and I've had enough. Not even the "good" art can save it. Don't read this crap folks, it's just a waste of your time. Seriously if you're persevering for the ecchi just go read hentai instead. I personally have dropped this from my reading list and am now going to remove every shred of it from my memory.

this is based on the story genji monogatari a famous story in japan its like the romeo and juliet version of japan forbidden love harem style
if you read genji monogatari you will understand why the story is slow this manga is pretty good and is really like genji monogatari
its a good way of telling the story genji monogatari how genji got 14 lovers (thers more but only 14 are official but if i count them all its gonna be like 25 maybe more) you better read genji monogatari first before you read this then judge it as its sucks, what the hell, its too slow, and its crappy but the part where the MC is always asking for his aunts help is lame since the MC of where this is based is super good looking intelligent and charming

for those who are annoyed always for it being updated irregularly you should learn how to read kanji and read it raw it is being updated weekly in japan but not translated cause of the translators but dont blame the translators cause they are just translating it for fun and are not being paid so dont go sayin "its so annoying its only nine pages and its not updated regularly" just informing the people who doesnt know especially the the comment on top of me^ and even made a review about it rofl

The basic premise is that a renowned professor, whose specialty is the story of Hikaru Genji, forces her nephew to reenact the folk tale. If he doesn't comply, he can feel free to move out. She's basically black mailing him, controlling his sex life so she can understand a story better. She is one of the most manipulative, selfish kind character to be written.
The premise is dumb. It sounds so ridiculous that it might work as a cringe comedy, but it plays everything straight, inhuman melodrama and everything. How does reenacting further your understanding? How can you be sure that it was like in the story, how do you know that the story was close to reality in any way, how do you know it was not just a metaphor? How can that woman think her little reenactment would simulate the same emotional states of the characters in the story? She she plans to make Minamoto seduce various girls, among them her niece and his cousin, everything is planned with precision, everything is manipulated, subtly undermining the girls' intentions, exploiting their emotional weaknesses. Minamoto strings along with it, cause he wants to get laid (and needs a place to stay since he can't live with his father anymore), and he doesn't give a second thought about what the girls want, just what he might need to do to get in their pants. Which would be okay if the series was aware of atrocious his actions are, but instead it portrays him (and the aunt) in a rather positive light.
Apart from the boldness of the goal (sleeping with 13 women) and the actual effort exerted to achieve this goal (read: it's pretty intense ecchi), there is nothing much to this manga but a large amount of cock teasing, which apparently helps to get readers hooked for a long time
I find this series morally atrocious, full of selfish characters and ham-handed attempts at drama, using elements and interpretation of the tale of Hikaru Genji (which by the way ends up with the main character being unhappily wed, his wife getting raped at one point and ultimately becoming a monk, so that's a rather grim outlook).
To Love Ru is more enjoable than this, at least it can get laugh out loud funny at times.
