Sure the plot is not that great, but it does not matter at all. Just sit back, read and be in awe in front of the amazing and uncommon characters, the perfect shojo main-girl (actually strong, smart enough, not a crybaby and so on...) and a cool boy ever with whom you can only sympathize and laugh. If you are searching for drama and seriousness, don't bother, but else you shall enjoy it for sure !

I'm a total sucker for this (unfortunately rare) type of manga, where the main male protagonist is someone rather naive who has to be protected and... well.. cuddled. If you are looking for something like that, this should hit the spot The main male character is completely adorable and the female protagonist is rather unique I thought, in that she diverges from the weak-willed cliche and just follows her heart. Lovely and really heart-warming. I loved it!

I DON'T REALLY LIKE THE COVER! seriously, that's what I came pop in my mind. I can't see the male character! But, the rating and popularity from some group scan, ( Aerandria..maybe?) that 2nd after Midnight secretary make me, how about give it a try?

First chapter, i hate Aoi Leo. What's up with the face? Then, i ignore it and keep on reading. Wow.. Leo..soo cool *__* making my heart bathump bathump!

He's so cute and somewhat handsome, he's so childish and love sulking but somehow a best *_*

I love the female too She's so funny, dependent, and animals hate her! Lol.

Guess what? You'll eventually fall in love with Aoi Leo *__* perfect guy.

It was a really cute nice short story. it was obvious how it was going to turn out but i enjoyed it anyways. its one of those storys that give you that 'awwww' feeling

ugh. the story is luv-er-ly. the characterizations, amazing. nothing was so close to typical that i had to roll my eyes. it's funny, sweet, and wildly entertaining. good, good stuff.

At first, I thought that this was a typical 'shoujo' where the guy is some cold-hearted player and the girl is some happy go lucky but stupid and clumsy.

Instead I got this. I loved it so much. So unique compared to other mangas, and i just can't stop laughing xD
It always gives you an 'awwwww' feeling, and the ending was just absolutely perfect.

Beast Master is a short manga that still manages to pack in a lot of charm and a couple of interesting characters. Leo in particular is great, the guy feels like a unique love interest while still keeping a lot of those elements that make up a shoujo hero. While Yuiko isn't as interesting, I do like the fact that she's not some completely passive loser, she fights for what she wants too. The artwork is also consistently good across the title, I was never once confused about what was going on.

The story is one of the only faults I can give this story, and that's only because there's not much conflict. The story certainly tries to add some near the end but it really does feel tacked on for the sake up wrapping up the story. I just feel like if there had been a better focused source of drama added into the story it might have been a little more engaging. Or at least a conflict that allowed for a little more emotion, I hardly felt anything reading this comic other than happiness that the couple ended up together. Which is fine, but it just came across as a bit... turn off your brain at times.

I really do think this is a fine story even if it is a little too lighthearted to really deliver much emotion. Plus it's real short so it's not going to take you much time anyhow.

The story moved smoothly. I would have liked to have seen maybe more romance?! But it wasn't all that bad. The first short story I could have done without reading. The second was heartfelt&#128541;. Artistry overall was almost nice besides the buttocks lips lol. &#128513;

When searching for my next read, this was at the top of the list. I always had second thoughts about it, but I finally picked it up and read. So different from what I imagined. The male lead is so...cute; yes, cute. Like a newborn puppy covered in mud; you just have to wipe it away and he's there; I'm probably not the best at comparing stuff :/ I remember there was a friend? Butler? Of the male lead's; well, he's nice and sunny (from what I remember).

Don't let the cover second guess it; it's a good read.
