Interesting at first

Main problem I found was the fact that the main characters were "afraid" of being found out due to the illicit relationship... but that never even seemed to be a real obstacle.
All barriers were psychological... which just created a character that was constantly wavering in her emotions. For the 2nd half of the manhwa, I was mostly in "omg just get together already" mode and not even reading the manga... Just wanting to find out what happened for closure.

A nice romance manga. I find it enjoyable through out the whole series. Still, the ending was a bit rushed. It would've been nice if there were a few more chapters, like aftermath or something. Sigh, i'm a bit disappointed. The ending wasn't bad, but im-dal young could have seriously made it better. Overall a great series. The drama wasn't annoying. The main characters were likable. The plot was good. Arguably the best series he's ever written so far. Definitely worth reading.

Now that it's finished....

... and I have a complete overview, I feel more qualified to judge. Judgement is here!

Basic facts. A forbidden love romance between a female teacher, Hae-Young, and her male student, Jin-Ho. She, eager to prove that she is as good a teacher as her mother was, goes out of her way to act 'responsible' for her student, Jin-Ho in particular due to their unique first meeting, and scenes typical of love comedy and ecchi manga follow. Before long, Jin-Ho, being an assertive and headstrong character confesses his love for her and vows to make her fall for him. The rest of the manga is filled with complications and drama, and as one of the scanlators described it a bit of a 'Korean Soap Opera'.

Overall a satisfying ending, and one of the few IM Dal-Young manhwa/manga where the main male character isn't a whimpering weakling. For that I am thankful. He's actually kind of badass at times. A lot of the flaws can be explained away by publishing complications and so on. Good, solid romance manhwa/manga. Enjoyed it a lot.

I didn't had many expectations from Ux2, because it's not a genre that I am looking for. Although, I am very familiar with the author.

- The story is quite enjoyable. It does not drag at all and it's built by various incidents between the teacher Hae-Young and the student Jin-Ho.

- The protagonist Jin-Ho is not a pansy like the other male protagonists of Im Dal-Young. He is quite tough and also a girls magnet. However,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
towards the last volumes, he becomes somewhat weak because of certain circumstances.

- Hae-Young is also a tough and heroine. I like her attitude and all, but she is unrealistic as a teacher. And I don't mean only appearance-wise. Surely, a teacher does not dress like that at school but her behavior wasn't that of a teacher's. For example, she was acting like a high-school student at times and she was involved with some of her students in situations that involved Jin-Ho. Like,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the time when Ami tried to kiss her and later Hae-Young didn't anything or at least to report it. Or when Ji-Soo yelled at her for trying to date Jin-Ho and all. Hae-Young wasn't that pissed; She could have easily suspend her and the other girl. But she only treated them like they were equal to her.

The ending felt rushed to me.

So we see Hae-Young giving up on Jin-Ho because of the annoying Jae-Kyung. Therefore, Hae-Young decides to start a new life in UK and then we see that Jin-Ho followed her somehow there. How? He didn't had a job at all to earn so much money, yet somehow he was a passenger in the plane. Difficult to get illegally in a plane but on the other hand, he knew everything about when Hae-Young will depart, on which plane, etc. It felt a little forced.

Also, the fact that we couldn't see what will happen to them next. I would like to see Hae-Young meeting Jin-Ho's father and the opposite, and perhaps their life in the next years. (Like, would they get married? Would Jin-Ho become a director like he wished?)

Lastly, I thought that there would be more interaction between the Chairman and Hae-Young. It was said that the chairman had a crush on Hae-Young's mother when he was a student and she was a teacher and so I thought that he'd become Jin-Ho's rival. Ah, but I was wrong, although it would have been interesting to see Jin-Ho's jealously.

Other than that, a very good read, better than the other generic crap that Im-Dal Young offers.

The story was good. A well balanced romance manhwa. The drama was pretty good too. In my opinion, i think this manhwa was axed. I mean, i thought it would end in a wedding or something. I wish they continued on this manhwa for a bit. I'm a bit disappointed of the ending, changing my rating from 10 to 9.

I'm new to this genre of so perhaps in that respect I might be biased. I've seen a few animes in the same genre but I have to say I really enjoy this. The story doesn't take center stage and its more about the characters and how they interact. Its not heart-wrenching or any of that. Its just a fun, light-hearted dramedy. You won't regret it if you stick with it. At least I don't.

Really weak story, but still somewhat interesting

It's got some really weak storylines and characters, but it's still an interesting read, sort of. The art is good and well, pretty much most of my reason for reading it is seeing if he can manage to hook up with the gorgeous teacher wink

I can't see how anyone could rate this a 10, but I guess some really are infatuated with it.

im not really into ecchi mangas or ones with male leads, however this manhwa was pretty awesome in my book! It never really got boring to me, even at the beginning. The fact that it was a forbidden love but not by too much outside influence (it was mostly the teacher that stopped the relationship from progressing) was less strenuous compared to those typical shojo mangas where the two people are together but then they keep getting beat down by others and blah blah blah.... I'm also usually more inclined to read mangas about two people who are the same age (or an older protective guy) but hey, it was soo much better reading about a confident woman who is perfectly capable of surviving on the planet without other people with the guy being the persistent chaser in the relationship - thank you so much!! Besides this, the characters are all pretty likable but i find a lot of annoying-ness in most of them. I like that the love triangles aren't drawn out too much and that the guy is never wavering. Both main characters are strong and MATURE. which is. awesome beyond manga standards.

Even though the relationship is so cute, the situations are so unrealistic...the plot goes into weird twists, but it has way less drama from what i expected of the title.

Some parts of this manwha are unique and likable, like the aggressive character of the male lead and his doggedness in pursuing the teacher's affections. And the fact that despite the artwork there's not TOO many perverted moments that make you wonder if you're reading a borderline-H work instead.

Parts not to like: Not realistic. The teacher never REALLY considers the consequences of having a relationship with the student. She always tells herself that it's bad, she shouldn't be doing it, etc etc but it never seems to affect her actions. The way she gets jealous over the female students and makes bets over her's and the student's relationship are things that would only happen in a manwha to increase the drama.
And in the last chapters the male lead suddenly starts behaving totally out of character, considering he'd been pursuing the teacher for so long, all due to a seemingly out-of-the-blue development in the plot.
