Description
From Nagareboshi Manga:
Orange Planet is about a girl named Rui, a high school student in love. One day, while delivering a love letter, Rui finds herself caught in a fire! Eisuke, the owner of the apartment that caught fire, says that since he saved Rui from the fire, that he should live in her home! This will be a problem for Rui, because her childhood friend, Tarou, lives next door and often comes into Rui's house unexpexctedly. Will Rui be able to put up with Eisuke living in her home without being caught?

The characters got me hooked, attached to them. I became accustomed to their little cute, fictional faces. So much so that my heart seemed to throb when the heroin's did. Bleh, the ending was okay, but I'd already figured out the identity of Haru-san in the beginning. =.= It was cute, worthwhile, a teeny letdown, but not really. Just like a girl in love.

Wow, i see a lot of haters for this manga xD.
Anyway, i thought it was alright. It's not as good as her other manga Cherry juice but pretty decent. Just some complaints:

I really think that Tarou deserved a lot more attention and care because throughout the whole story, even though they were going out, it seemed she didn't even think for his feelings. not even once! I also wondered why she liked the teacher because it didn't really make sense how she could fall for him just like that.. hm.. guess when u live with someone things change eh. Anyway, i really wanted her to end up with Tarou and the ending coulda been better too.. overall, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't that good either.
To be honest, Rui is one of the most annoying characters I've seen and came across. I'm glad she didn't end up with Tarou-chan, yes, he really does deserve better..

I'm suprised he didn't actually say "Look Rui, I think your dense, fickle and I'm shocked to ever have loved you" I HATE Eisuke..What the hell seriously, one minute he loves her the next its like "OMG I'M GETTING MARRIED TO YOUR BEST FRIEND!"
I didn't understand the whole marriage thing. I hate heroines like Rui, undesicive and attension seeking. The ending was a dissapointment, she should have ended up with neither..like that would happen...this is a typical shoujo.All I can say is that.... I am disappointed. Very very disappointed. =(

The only reason I didn't rate it 1/10 was because the graphics was fairly good.

This author really gets me... I HATED THE ENDING. IT SUCKED. I'm sorry Orange Planet fans, but I really didn't like it. I don't know why... It just... Didn't fit? I guess? It seemed like it was thrown together at the last minute... I love the art, but the story... Blech. Sorry~

Bad bad bad ending... very bad that it's really bad to the point that it's bad.
I dont know why human (or mangaka) like this kind of ending but it's really similar to how bad Shinshi Doumei Cross

OMG!! Rui is soooo annoying!! So dense, and so fickle! In the end I just wished that it would turn into yaoi (and this is coming from a girl who NEVER reads yaoi - that's how much I hate the lead girl) Tarou and Eisuke should just hook up instead! XD
Firstly, the girl is pretty....dense. Don't like that. Secondly, I hated the way how everything was all driven up to a climax at the chapter before the last chapter, and then all resolved at the end. Yes, it was too fast. Thirdly, I just wanted Tarou to win. D:
