Badou's in trouble again. He's found some of the "Lost Children," rare genetic experiments left from the past--but so has the mafia. It's up to Heine to bail him out, but the Stray Dog has his own problems now that the enigmatic Giovanni is back on the scene. Meanwhile, Naoto comes to the Underground searching for the killer who wields the same strange black sword as hers. And so their paths begin to converge in the dark and dangerous heart of the city...

I want to get a tattoo of that inukami design...

This series is great; nice, clean and detailed art, fantastic plot, great characters etc. It's just one of those series you'd find interesting no matter what type of genre you're into ( eg. the person below.. >.> ). Read the first volume (Dogs) and even the oneshots (which introduces the characters perfectly) to get an understanding of how the characters are related to one another and an insight into their past. Yes, it can be confusing at times, but hopefully it'll pan out more smoothly in future. If not, it's best to re-read, trust me, it helps.

Dark, funny, action-packed with awsome characters. A recommended series.

I picked this manga from an online reading site randomly since I got bored waiting for my favorites and I was lucky enough to hit a very good one. I'm a shoujo and yaoi fan but I was immediately hooked to this action-violence manga! It's so great and it's really hot! Haine is the hottest and the sexiest guy ever! >_<

this is the first time that I really feel the need to hold a manga in my hands. to read it continuously, whenever I feel weird, bored, annoyed, anything.. characters are awesome. from the priest and his awesome hobbies, to grandma and her dangerous awesomness. this is how a manga is supposed to feel like. in it's purest. complete. BUY IT! and buy me a copy too while you are at it.. ^^

Goriness: 5/10 - blood, heavily stylized
Nudity: 5/10 - toplessness, should be fine for a mature enough audience
themes: 5/10 - only gets this rating because of the s&m scene/joke and some prostitution ring hints. ;)
i absolutely love this manga. the characters are so likable and great it's hard not to get drawn in. The comedy is hilarious and reminds me of black lagoon (the hollywood references are the best!). Yes, it is a little confusing, but if you read it carefully, it's really enjoyable. this manga also has some of the best one liners ever XD I still can't forget the one where naoto meets haine and it's all dramatic and fluttery, then Haine turns to Badou.
"who's the chick?"
"No idea."
Probably the most anticlimatic romance seen i've read lol.
four line summary:
A funny dark gunslinger type manga in a post apocalyptic world with a host of charming and unforgettable characters. they all meet by pure coincidence and try and conquer their respective pasts down in the gang ridden underworld. along the way they encounter freaky twins, hitmen, a mobboss with interesting hobbies, and a freaky lady in pinstipes to name a new. and to top it all of, the person they're hunting down has six fingers!

This manga is great, and funny too, which is a plus. The character introduction was awesome, but the story, does indeed get a bit confusing and is hard to follow sometimes

based on the first volume, this could be a great manga (strange, because I don't like gun action manga)... in the beginning I was confused about the story, but now I know the first volume was made to introduce the main characters...

this is a must reading manga
