Don't know what it is about this manga. n_n

I thought it was going to be another one of those so called 'shallow' reads, considering the genre, and how most of the smut genre can tend to be light reads. I don't know exactly what it was about this story that finally captured me in the second volume, but somehow it was torture, having to wait to know what was going to happen next. Now it's not to say that this series isn't realistic, it is a worthwhile read, for both it's sweetness and frankness.

it looked stupid when i read the summary but i really got hooked on it. it was a really sweet manga and i'm not going to go into detail or i'll ruin it but it was a really cute story. it was a cutesy romance with some smut but the smut didn't really bother me. it actually got me laughing out loud too. give it a read.

Good, but streched

The beggining is interesting, enough that you want to keep reading, the story in itself is pretty good, and i liked the ending, though, that's just my opinion, some people find it cliche (i just love happy endings). Anyway, the story is really good, BUT, i think the author streches the middle volumes way too long with que same stuff over and over again. Also, i have to say that i disagree with a comment made before where it says that the main character (Miyako) doesn't evolve at all, while the prince changes during the manga. I think that although, Miyako, does fall in the same mistakes almost till the end, she does change her attitude in life, she becames more mature and realizes that one can't live alone. On the other hand, the prince does change, but i also think that he was the way he was in his heart from the begging, it's just that the author takes all the story to show his whole character.

The manga is quite light, at some points you feel like they are beggining to touch a more serious subject, but they just leave you there and move foward with the story.

To end this, if you decide to read this manga you are most probably gonna enjoy it, but you must be prepared to endure a lot of repetitiveness in the middle.

Cliche ridden and far from being great, but still enoyable

The artwork is top notch (definitely 10/10) but the story is VERY cliched and VERY predictable - and getting more and more predictable as it progresses. 6/10 at the very best. The ending made me yawn as it is overly cliched. Painfully cliched...

Also, I totally agree with one of the previous reviewers that Miyako (unlike the prince) lacks any character development. She seems to learn nothing throughout the story - keeps running round in circles and being a crybaby. Granted, the latter is kinda cute...but being overused by the author IMO, overused to the point of being annoying. Because of all that, I came to like Chiri (Miyako's friend, one of the supporting characters) more than Miyako herself. Don't get me wrong, I always enjoy the bookworm/nerd type characters but this one was way too plain and boring even for your typical bookworm/nerd. Chiri is much more interesting - I wish there would be more of her in the story.

But despite the above, this manga is surprisingly enjoyable so I do recommend it to anyone who wants a sweet, funny, beautifully drawn story and is not allergic to cliches.

As stated in the subject header, this is an excellent manga and I dont use that word too often. Art is superb a definite 10/10, story is well developed and has no holes 10/10, character development is perfect you can tell the difference and growth in the characters between the beginning of the manga and its end 10/10 and finally the ending gave me a scare for a second there but it was also excellent.
I highly recommend this manga to anybody that enjoys a mature romance story with realistic development in plot and an awesome ending.

This manga started off rather well and ended amazing! I love how they go through so much for their love and not give up. I think Miyako is rather pretty as well and off course Will is a hunk ^_^

This series really kept me guessing until the end! It is full of interesting plot twists and leaves you wanting to read the next volume! The characters are exactly what you would expect them to be. The prince is charming (Or so it seems!), and the princess to be is a bit of a clueless girl, but never the less cute. The comedy is well placed and contrasts with the drama nicely. The smut scenes are also well placed and drawn. Overall a very good series with my only complaints being that it could have been longer and some of the characters are too static.

Miyako comes off as really annoying for some reason, and stupid too, for falling for peoples fake sob stories repeatedly. What is up with her granny clothes? just because someone is smart it doesnt mean that they'll dress that horrendously. it really rubbed me the wrong way that Will had to make Miyako feel sorry for him, for her to sleep with him (i know thats shes responsible for her own choice, and that she decided to sleep with him) but its still so pathetic that he would do something like that. There is just something really unlikable about Miyako.

Worth reading but a disappointing female protagonist

I like this series and would recommend it to anyone who's into shoujo and smut (tho the smut scenes only occur once every 3-4 chapters). The art is pretty and detailed, which portrays the hot prince perfectly, however I've found Miyako (main chick) lacking a lot of this detail. I understand that she's meant to be nerdy, plain and lacks a fashion sense. However, her everyday clothes can be extremely ugly and far beyond just "plain". If I was to rate Miyako on her appearance in today's society I would give her a 3/10. Would be a 1/10 if it wasn't for the occasional special events where she actually looks beautiful. As for characters' personality, I agree and disagree with the previous comments. Will is depicted what we would imagine a prince to be, ie perfect gentleman, but it clearly shows in the manga that he's not (he's also egotistic, childish, protective) as well as enduring hardships because of his prince title. As the manga progresses he becomes more considerate and even perform actions that go against his princely image. Miyako however lacks this achievement and character progress. Yes, she learns to fall in love again, but it clearly shows that she doesn't progress from her trust issues (and fashion issues). Even Chiri (her best friend) as a secondary character is much more kind and helpful than Miyako. I'll give credit for Miyako for being hard working and studious, but would had liked her much more if there was more to her to be liked. Putting that all that aside, the manga was still very enjoyable thanks to the art, romance and comedy.

ait first you just get bored then it turns a little interesting for the angst and blah but..it's just too annoying how these characters don't consider each others feelings...specially the main girl.
