Really Great manga
i thought this manga was going to be boring but i was so wrong. The plot is so hilarious. The main character is hilarious and so are other characters. The art turns away manga people but please please give it a try because this manga is so funny and awesome. The art gets way better then the first couple of chapters so dont worry. I gave this a 9/10 because the ending was unsatisfying. All in all read this manga and get ready to laugh your butt off.Oh yeah btw there is a romance tag for this series which shouldnt be there because there is only a tiny tiny tiny little romance in the series.
the best part about this manga is certainly Mitsuhashi. i never know any protagonist as bastardly, cruel, insensitive, cheapskate, etc like him. i really love this kind of protagonist, like the one in zippy ziggy and yureka. guys who use their smarts as well as their strength are the best! the other characters are great too, their stupidity or their bravery, their goodness and their meaness are interesting flavour in this manga the plot is not a disappointment either. sure, there are no overarching main plot, but just reading about their exploit is enough. 'spoiler' im quite disappointed the last boss wuss up in the end, but oh well 'end spoiler'. the art is old school, but i like it that way. the chibi form is very cute! however i am unable to distinguish from one baddie to another. only the two protagonist is easy to distinguish due to their elaborate hairstyle. but not much of a problem, if you dont really care who's who like me. i really want to read their adventure after school! but i figure it is somewhat like GTO lol, doing weird stuff well in their adulthood.
all in all, an amazing escapist manga. try it!
Great mix of delinquent and comedy. Only manga I found similar to this was Cromartie High School but I couldn't really more than a couple chapters of that per day without getting tired.
THe author managed to "ruin" his manga within 2 chapters. Of course I mean the last ones. In other words the ending sucked. However the rest of the manga is great : you get a lot of funny moments, a lot of badass moments and a lot of awesome moments. Except for Itou's girl, every character has a real personnality, and they are all great except for one or two vilains. Another great point is how Mitsuhashi and Itou are by no means invincible and immortal. They are not like Onizuka of GTO for example. They run, they hide, they can't deal with too many ennemies... They're strong, but in a believable way. If the romance part attracted you however, give it up. You won't get anything like that, it is nearly non-existent.
Anyway I highly recommend it. I didn't give it a 10 because of the ending. But that still leaves you with 364 chapters, and something like 95% of them are great. That's it. 9.5 it is then

Awesome! This is just awesome! The two main characters compliment each other perfectly. The blond guy is especially funny, reminds me of hiruma from Eyeshield 21 but kicks huge amounts of ass though not as smart or calculating.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Rather funny but not hilarious most of the time. Angel Densetsu for example is one I consider better in the same kind of genre. There's no character development at all basically. The romantic plot with Riko never gets any deeper which is a shame, imo.
