Description

I feel as if the love is very empty and it does not convince me.
For some reason all the characters lost their original edge by becoming bipolar people? Especially Ceasar who looks insane with rage one second and then a cute little boy the next - not buying it.
There's no buildup in character and the "arcana" aspect of this is lost quite easily.
Art is typical shoujo and unoriginal.
4 for original twist and effort in adding sub-people in.

At first I thought this story won't last for 5 volumes after this author's mangas are normally one-shot. So, I thought why not give this a try. So ta-da, I went and read this manga which only had less than 10 chapters back then. However, I was drawn to the story and was always awaiting for a new chapter. Story line could be a bit confusing but I find that Nakaba and Caesar are really cute in there. Art was amazing like always. Characters were really cute too. It always left off in suspension which makes us craving for the next chapter. Thus this manga is really worth a try biggrin

Thus far, I'm not sure where I stand on this story. It's not terrible, although some the characters are cliche and annoying (*cough* Nakaba especially *cough*), and the art is good. And the plot is at least a good idea - I'm hesitant to say that the mangaka has fully lived up to the potential it has though.

The thing is, it's not . . . compelling, I guess? I'm not anxiously awaiting every chapter to come out; in fact, I'm several chapters behind at the moment because I just don't care enough to want to read them. There aren't many surprises in this, and I feel like I can predict everything that's going to happen, from the little stuff, to the bigger things like pairings.

Maybe it's just me, though. And the art is excellent, so give it a shot for that anyway.

I really didn't expect to love this fantasy-shoujo-romance combo...fantasy's just not my type...BUT THIS?! this has just amazed so bad!!

at first, the art really attracted me to it..then, reading the plot, it intrigued me...then reading the first chapter...all the more i don't wanna stop!! AWESOME!! and i'm looking out for some action..!! this had fed my thirst well..!! a must-read!! i LOVE how the story was constructed...the characters and the leads...they're so NOT annoying..!! the characters were placed well in the story. it's not as if they were made for the plot. instead, they perfectly made sense. their roles really has to do with what's about to happen.they acted as elements not as stepping stones. they blended well. that it made me wanna cry out and beg for more!

THIS is something YOU shoud NOT miss!!

10 stars? Really confused ??

This manga is overrun with cliche, overused themes and so predictable that I can write the story to its end without having read more than the first two chapters.

This is very disappointing compared to Toma Rei's other works. While they still lack immensely in the plot area, they at least were good for a light read.

This manga, however, is unbearable. There is no way that the heroine would be able to act the way she does with so much psychological damage. Also, there are too many characters like her who are weak and stupid but is somehow well-liked by a majority of the male cast. Justice does not always equate protecting every living thing in your path. Her naiivety annoys me, the plot is thin and drags on, too much fluff and not enough explanations, etc.

A total flop overall. The only thing saving this manga is the art.

This probably is one of TOMA Rei's best manga so far. The art work is great and more complicated than usual, I'm actually hoping that this manga would be sold in my country, I'd love to include this in my collection!
The story is complex but not boring, it made me forgot my drowsiness! The heroine is smart and brave, quite likeable. The other characters are very cool too.
I have read the Chinese version too, and I like it so far.

When you combine arranged marriage and shoujo there are certain expectations that build up. Not to say that this manga doesn't meet those expectations but it's got a little more... darkness than I was expecting. There are slight variations in this story and in the characters that make it different from other stories that are similar. I only hope that this is carried through to the end. It's quite interesting though. Also, I do like how there are humans and human-beast people. It's not fair how they treat them but it's an interesting variation.

I'm Loving this manga, its a shame that the scanlation aren't coming... I already red the first 5 chapters, using resumes of a friend of mine, they suck but at least they allow see how beutifull this manga is.

If you have this manga in your list, read it, its really good wink

like how the heroin is strong and can stand up to the prince. just hope it dosen't turn out like all others where the princes older brother or younger brother or guards butt in an sweeps her off her feet an she falls in love with them. i really want it to be just between them two. i haven't read a manga like that in a long time

I'm really impressed. This is the first actually strong heroine I've seen in a while. She's gutsy but smart enough not to be fearless, and the ways she shows her vulnerability melts me (and it seems, the prince). The prince is actually nasty but shows hints of...not goodness, but softness when it comes to the heroine, which will be interesting, as he is still quite a horrible person. (Just because he's soft on someone doesn't mean he'll be *good* to them. And yet it's that possibility that intrigues.) The dynamic between the newly wedded prince and princess is taut, really teetering on the edges between violence, attraction, and respect--a really interesting combination that *I* respect.
