From Go! Comi:
When her grandmother passes away, high-school student Kajitsu Toda suddenly finds two hot stepbrothers and an adorable little stepsister dropped in her lap! Kajitsu and her step-siblings have only one thing in common: they were all abandoned by their parents. Against the odds, they've pulled together to form a family without grown-ups. They don't want charity, they don't want pity... they just want their dignity!
Things are particularly tough for Kajitsu and her step-brother Natsu. As kids, they were as close as any true siblings. Now, reunited for the first time in seven years, they've grown as far apart as two people can be. Can they ever become friends again? And can two high school students living together, even as "siblings" ever escape scandal?

I really liked this manga. It was refreshing. I kind of wanted the teacher and Kajitsu to be together, since they seemed like a more "fun" couple. The thing with Kajitsu and Natsu was a bit weird. I liked that they're together, but for some reason I found it a liiittttllle akward. . .but yeah. I just happened to notice this manga on a book shelf and after looking at it, I couldn't put it down. It's like real life, with the twists and turns. I just really loved this. The characters are awesome. They progress with the story, growing mature and kind of more cooler. Okay, that doesn't make sense. . .but anyways, I loved it. Giving it 9.8 cause of the ending. Bit fast there.
Life is not always kind to us, but no matter which obstacles it brings, we have to face it with ours heads up straight. This story is about tripling and falling, but also learning to stand up when you fall and keep on living. The character are great developed, you see how they change and grow when they face their losses and fears.
...I just won't give it a 10 because I really wish Kajitsu would have ended up with Akai-sensei! lololol But it was touching and beautiful!

It's not incest when you are not blood related @.@ Maybe it's "social incest" but well, not incest in the literal sense anyway. I second many reviews about it having more depth than many shoujo I know. It remembers me a lot of a teenage novel I once read... children who were always disappointed by adults, and who in the end learn to forgive, grow up and get stronger.
I read it in one day oO
i always like a manga with a happy ending but i have 2 also like the plot as well, and for crossroads it has them both.
I really LOVED this manga... but I really don't like how it ended :< !!!!!! There were these two really hot couples that I was rooting for...... but T_________T Wahhhh.... I have been thinking about how it ended for such a long time... and it leaves a dark cloud over my head all the time because of it ToT
crossroads is a really sweet story with a wonderful ending, most things you read just end and there is little conclusion (which makes me frustrated) but this author did a fantastic from beginning to end.
It took me a while to get through this story, but I'm glad I did. It was a real read like a book. Real character development, strong relationships, deep story; stuff actually happened. It's very different from most things I've read, I'd like to think. As for the story, it really goes to a different level somewhat analyzing the psychological aspects of Kajitsu (heh, I might be reading too deep into this). But a lot of her issues come into play with this, and how she deals with them. The characters were realistic, and so were their relationships. I'm glad it ended the way it did. Nice and warm, and thoroughly explained. This is quite the drama.
this was a good read! it kept me want more =) theres not much romance with the main characters (kajitsu and natsu) until around vol 5 which kinda mad me sad. The story also ended kinda fast so i didnt really like that either =( besides those, its a must read
YOU MUST READ!!! oh and there incest (kinda) and no sex =(
very cute and decent manga. Some nice juicy drama, some nice juicy guys, a simple and adorable read. Recommended for the fluff! 7.5/10
Very enjoyable, and thoroughly addictive~
This manga had a different plot from a typical shoujo (the ones I've been reading anyway) and got me hooked. The art wasn't so significant in the first few volumes but it got better and better. The main charaacter was likeable too! Even though there was angst throughout the manga, I found many places very funny. Akai-sensei and the Home Ec teacher were amazing supporting characters! They made the whole series shine. This manga is recommended for anybody who enjoys a more realistic shoujo with an interesting story and very good art.
