When a friend introduced me to this manga I was sceptical at how you could have a story about curry. Yet somehow it works. To me, I get the same sort of feeling as I do with Great Teacher Onizuka, which is definitely a good thing. The recipies are an added bonus too.

starts off slow, needed time to get yakitate out of my head coz thats so awesome ^^;
somewhere around volume 2 I really started liking it tho; very funny at times, cute girls + fanservice... Makito is an idiot :D love it
Great read if you dig cooking-manga like me :P

Brilliant primer for those who want to know more about curry and has not only interesting info on food going for it, it has amusing characters and a story that keeps me reading. Love it to death. Can't wait for the rest of it to be translated.

I hate curry but i am addicted to it???????... hmm... i love addicted to curry! but i dont love curry! yea yui could be cuter... but hey it a great and fun series. highly reccomend it.
