This is one of the very few stories which has actually made me cry. You will definateley enjoy it. Remember that it is not a hentai manga and hence it doesnt have sexual scenes. It is a complete psycological and human behaviour manga.
It shows the pain of a victim and the sufferings he/she have to undergo. The importance of a relationship and a family support.
A must read!

The plot... ehh. I've seen it before, and I wasn't necessarily moved. It had too much unresolved drama piling and piling, and that was not only irritating, but got in the way of the characters.

In the way of character development... only the two main characters had any "development," and that development was of the shoujo kind. From the beginning, the story seemed kind of superficial and fictional, which for the serious topics it covered, could and should have been a bad thing.

However, it wasn't a bad read. I don't regret the time I spent reading it, and as a manga, I think it depicted what the author wanted to depict. As for realism, there were some elements of it. It wasn't entirely fabricated, and unlike previous reviewers, I felt that the main girl's personality was fine. Not to be pointing fingers, but I feel that anyone that has a set way of how such a girl (i.e. those that have gone through teen pregnancy/were raped) should act hasn't experienced life any more than a "teenager." I will hold back my biting comments toward a previous reviewer's mention of a k-drama representation because this is supposed to be an objective (ish) review. Anyway, the way the flashbacks dealt with how she developed were well-placed, and added to the bulk of the story.

The emotional strain on the reader I felt wasn't huge. In fact, the characters felt so distant to me, and it had nothing to do with whether they were "relatable" because of similar characteristics. It might just be this author's style. Or the fact that, with issues such as these, it's just difficult to portray a person with such a past in a manner that has the reader absorbed. You either like the plot, or you don't.

One thing that wasn't addressed that really should have been was the issue of pity. I appreciated the subtlety of its development, but the way the author just abruptly ended the light sense of issue put me off. If that had been more masterfully developed, this manga would have been above-par for its genre.

My end recommendation? If you like the summary, read it. It's a pretty accurate representation of the story. The male lead is quite like-able in the sense of the word, and if you can manage to see past all the random plot elements of drama, I don't think you'll regret reading it.

Could have been much better. The main girl just wasn't believable--I couldn't believe that she was actually raped given her personality, nor that her family and society would allow her to have a kid so willingly and at such a young age.

Its a wasted story and I can't recommend it. If you want the same story told better, watch a good k-drama instead. I'd give it a 4, but because so many teenagers who are not yet jaded to the novelty of rape are giving it 10s which it obviously doesn't deserve, I'll give it a 2 instead.

this manga covers some very touchy topics molestation, abortion, adoption but it flowed together beautifully. I liked the main character he so sweet and nice and the girl had every reason to break down but was so strong. the ending couldve been much better tho. but i highly recommend to an adult reader of manga

This is an amazing, must read manga. I was looking for manga involving rape a while back and someone suggested it to me and I delayed reading it because I thought the title would havbe been yet another one of the smutty titles that have gotten lost in the back of my mine where the girl gets raped and falls in love with her attacker.

100% WRONG. Wow. This manga left me in tears and speech less. I teared up several times and I was impressed by the depth of which it was plotted. This manga even managed to avoid random character insertion syndrome which drives me nuts. but instead the character which was later introduced was not random but rather foreshadowed. Not often thought about but a brilliant touch.

the art work was surpurb and you really felt for the lead characters. wishing them the best and then with that ending phrase leaving you to paint their own future.

this is truly an incredibly well written and emotionally moving manga. you need to be prepared to cry when you read this manga. also, READ THE DESCRIPTION!!! if you have any experiences similar to any of the characters in this manga and have not come completely to terms with them, i would not read this. a close friend of mine (and someone who has read this manga) has had experiences pretty close to Aikawa and it was a few weeks of constant tears before she was back to her old self. however, i do feel that it helped her to read this because she has now come to terms with the whole ordeal. my main message i guess is KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INTO BEFORE YOU START TO READ THIS!!! and i do entirely recommend this manga

I never had an emotional distress since I finished Ichigi 100%, I did not cry though. But im always thinking about it and i cant sleep for 1 night after i finished i, but thank its not as severe after Ichigo 100%..so if your searching for realistic moral issue and exciting romance you should read this.

PS: sorry for mentioning Ichigo100% many times, im still at the state of aftershock about the ending of it so if you dont still know i was saying just read it.

This manga was totally out of the blue for me. The usual...procrastinating and chose random manga, but it really took me by surprise.
The series is classified as seinen so do expect that things will be a bit more serious than most. The storyline is absolutely amazing, and the mangaka is very brave to be able to write about something that is so similar to her own experiences, and especially on such a painful subject as well.
More than the plot itself, its what it says about life that is really worthwhile in this manga. I'm not usually a person that looks at any real morales in stories (and its not like you can go far with manga) but this one was a big revelation. Its all good when its a cool hero in some other person's story, but when you experience it yourself as shown in this manga's close proximity to the family, it really is a totally different story.
Definitely worth the read, and its not even that long. Must give it a try!
