Description
From Nagareboshi Manga:
Hikage is a reclusive 8th grader who no one seems to notice. She finds comfort in her blog, and the people who comment on it. Everything changes one day when two cute boys notice her. These boys are the most popular kids in the entire school. When one of them tells her something that she's always wanted to hear, she might not be as invisible as she thought.

A horribly, horribly average shoujo. I mean, it's so average it's mediocore(you can tvtrope it). It's like... nothing new. At all. I read like, five words a page and still knew EXACTLY where it was going to go. IT's like... ugh, not like every single cliche, but it FEELS so damned cliched you just can't... damn. I mean, some parts I still enjoyed, and the art was a definite nice little 10, but still... damn, it was average. Not exactly a waste of time, but I did read the entire series in ~30 minutes, skipping all the meaningless, predicatable stuff. Check it out. If you're a shoujo fan, you'll like it.

The BEST FREAKING PART of the ENTIRE SERIES was the extra at the end detailing megaPIG, the other commentor. Now THAT was more fun and the entire series. At the very least, read the entire series to get to that part. it was just done BETTER.

Wow, the beginning was such a bummer that I got teary eyed.

Typical love triangle shoujo manga, one girl and two best guy friends, which the mangaka pulled off pretty well (without including chp17 and 18, which in my opinion, the mangaka just undermined the strength of the friendship between Hinata and Teru)

While this story is a bit of an exaggeration, the concepts and feelings are universal and I can relate to Hiwatari and Teru's loneliness.

What I didn't like was near the ending, seriously don't read chp 17 because the author adds an annoying twist to the situation, but really, nothing happens. If you read up to the end of chp 16, you'll know what I mean.

I'm just thankful that it was a short series. Oh, I really liked the extras.

The story is really good though some may find it cliché or whatever. I really like Koko ni Iru yo!. The story and characters are very... Refreshing. Once you know more about Sumino's personality, you get to love her as if she were your little sister; as if you would want to protect her too. And I don't really think Sumino is weak. She's strong, that's why she overcame obstacles. No one that only read chapter one and decide to stop reading has a right to bash Sumino chan because there's more to her than meets the eye or in this case the first chapter. No person should bash manga characters when all they have read is one or two chapters only. That is my honest opinion so don't hate me either. Yes, It was sad, but it was a good feeling of sadness. This manga will be one of those (if you read and finish it) that you will never-ever forget; really memorable. It has the right mix of drama and comedy(at times). Wonderful characters, wonderful plot, wonderful dialogues. Wonderful Manga.

This is preteen cute but OMG, what a whinny main character. I read it from start to finish but what a waste of my time. Can we make the female gender sound and look any more weak? Jeeze...

Was it worth reading it?

During my 2 years of reading manga, i always keep two to three shoujo mangas on my reading list with the immence action, shounen and sienen manga i read, but picking up this one isn't the greatest choice i have made.

Like some of the commentors have stated, the main character is all winy, wishie-washy and relies too much on people to the point of giving you a headache. Also, the story wasn't too good, kinda boring basically but i have seen much worse so i would give it a point for that.

Anyway, to answer the question if it was worth reading it and finishing it, i would say no... not really but i did anyway.

Didn't read this for a couple of months, then now when I read it again I got to volume 5, and it wasn't until I filled in the statistics on this website that I noticed that the manga was over Oo Didn't notice it at all from the story :s It got kinda boring either way in the second "half"... So whatever..

A poor interpretation of women/girls

GOSH what a ridiculous interpretation of my own gender. OMG I'M SO ALONE AND NO ONE LIKES ME BLAH BLAH BLAH. She is very winy and just moans about how shes alone, yet does very little to change herself. Instead she relies upon two boys to basically do all the work for her and give her "encouragement" if she really wanted to change she should learn to do it herself. Its a poor representation of women, and to be honest I feel shes more lazy then weak, she simply appears like she cannot be bothered to change herself or get up and join in things. I'm not a very out going person myself but even I wanted to slap this girl round the face and tell her to get over herself. Furthermore her hair was REALLY annoying that giant kink that sticks out was terribly drawn and shaded. The manga is filled with cliché's that add nothing to her or the lead male character. Its manga like this that angers me!

"A person is very weak when he's by himself. But if he has friends to support him, if he has friends to cherish him... He can become as strong as he wants to be."
She's weak like that, yes. But she wants to change. That's why she's so sad and so easily knocked down, it's because she wants it so much that it hurts! If anyone can say that she's so pitiful then you don't know what it's like to be ignored, not even noticed. It's a horrible feeling. One can't even speak up if someone is using their seat. It's a horrible existence when you want to be known by a few friends. Haven't you ever considered that there's someone even weaker, who can give up so much easier?

Waste of time. The girl is always all "im so lonely, i wanna go into the sun." It was also wayy too obvious who she was going to choose and the things that would happen. It's one of those manga's that are like "I'm here for you so have strength! you can do it!" kinda thing -.-... Total shoujo.

Good art and a standart story...

Although I liked the art, the story was not so good. It wasn't interesting enough for me. Hmm... My main problem with this story was Hikages character. I mean she looks cute, her personality isn't bad, but her problems are so trivial, I can't brind myself to like her. Well I didn't hate the manga, maybe, somebody will find it cute...
