I don't know why this manga is labeled as ecchi, but I can say one thing: IT IS AMAZING. I love the art and most of all, I love the story line. Just a little bit of angst and sports with the potential of some romance is a recipe of wonderful. This manga's become one of my faves.

No matter how good this manga is, the dissapointment done by this rushed/axed ending, the main problem is that the whole history is just a introduction to what will happen next, that is why is such a waste of time.

Dont read this manga, the dissapointment is bigger than the enjoyment.

this, and the manga one outs is the best sport manga i had ever read. the best point about this manga is the unhinged characters. from nono and her emotionally disturbed family, ultra violent senpai and rapist teacher, cheating school, secret sacrifice sect, etc. really, the characters are so entertaining with their random violent outburst. i especially love the way the artist draw their emotions, so twisted and grotesque.

i am also in love with the way the sport is shown. i got dizzy sometimes seeing the hill from the top. its breathtaking the way they slide down the ramp and just fly. i will never be tempted to try this, its too scary, but it is certainly beautiful to look at. the artist is highly skilled in capturing the immense grandeur of the sport.

i like that there is no 'training' for the main character. she is perfect, and that's it. i don't need to see super quick stupid training montage that can beat better and highly trained people 'just because'. she is highly gifted, always have and always be, so it is not weird for her to win.

really, try this.

At first I really liked this manga and I still like it very much. I just don't get all the molesting/dramatic parts that began to appear so suddently. Even so I love it. I only wish more romance would start between the min characters!

After going through a ton of mostly shoujo gender bender mangas, this one was extremely refreshing and, should I say, addicting? It's the first manga that got me so hooked with the first few chapters that I just couldn't wait for the scanlations to come out and directly read all the raw chapters.
What makes this manga so great is that it has just about the right balance of everything. It's got some angst but not too much (with the exception of the flashback arc), and it incorporates some romance but it's actually meaningful here because it shows just what the heroine had to give up for her dream. And of course, the clean art and the dramatization of the sport is a major plus.
Absolutely loved it!

good manga up untill now. it was funny that they used a german word, i first thought i read wrong. i know many german ski jumpers, but the only japanese one i know is noriaki kasei. i wonder if there will be more japanese ski jumpers after some people read this (like there was a Go boom after Hikaru no Go)

I just thought I would read this as a joke because the title sounded so silly but it actually turned out to be entertaining. I mainly read shoujo/romance/josei so this is refreshing and different. I guess I also like it because it's pretty clean so far and the art is unique, well to me anyway.

When the first chapter was scanlated I was in love. I even went and started trying to understand things from the raw (I can't read a single kanji).

What struck me then was how much I liked the art.

I thus far don't have a single major thing I dislike about the manga while liking a lot of what it does good.

Meh, this manga is interesting. But it's also very explicit. The author is the one that made Elfen Lied and I read the latest unscand volumes....it is not pretty....not pretty at all. It turns really really scary, many many bad things happen to the main character. sad
