Better than I thought.

It was in the wee hours of the morning when I came across this manga. I read all the comments before just deciding to go for it, I had time to kill. I enjoyed this manga a lot more than the comments would have made me believe I could. I thought it flowed well, if maybe a tad overly done with the mystery behind everything and maybe with a small bit of creepy thrown in. We saw the struggle behind our heroines life and decisions. And while the manga didn't focus on figuring out her 'power' I actually liked that it didn't. Sometimes weird shit happens, because of this power she was able to overcome a lot of things and along the way understand people. I liked how things were tied off at the end and I always love a happy ending. <3

I liked the main characters. I liked the fact that they were grey. I liked the fact that Midori was nice. I liked the character development in the first volume. I liked the fact that it had a nice ending. I liked that the "jerk" actually, truly, realised he was a jerk and stopped being one.
I find it a fault in most mangas that the main characters are almost never conflicted in their actions morally. It's almost as if the characters know they're in a manga and act according; unrealistic and always doing the "good thing". Saki, in a sense, is not like this. She acts more like a human in the first "arc". Although she does the right thing in the end, she was content to accept her "friend" (I forgot her name) being bullied after she exposed her lies. The ending of this first arc is not clear cut either; her "friend" is neither her friend again nor her enemy.
Saki's love with Midori is exactly what fit in this manga. It crept in without Saki noticing, and as such didn't take much "shoved in your face" development from the author. Midori may have been 2-D, and his "secret" may not have been up to much (although in a manga, unless the hyped up secret is something along the lines of a secret government plot to wipe everybody out, it's always going to be a disappointment) but at least he was nice. And his niceness didn't really have any ulterior motive. I never got the feeling that he was playing with Saki for his own ends, but rather he actually cared about her.
The third volume is different from the first; it focuses more on the aforementioned "secret" and the relationships between the three/four main characters. Although it would have been nice if the manga had continued in the same vein as the first volume, I didn't find it that bad.
Overall, this is a nice manga, with a decent ending and characters that are more human than most.

Better than I thought, but might be forgettable

It's better than the usual shoujo fare, and I like how it didn't feel rushed despite it being only 3 volumes. I also liked all the characters - ALL of them. They had their own faults as well as redeeming qualities. The premise of a shoujo heroine with the ability to detect lies was what hooked me in the first place, since I figured it would bypass the annoying 'I'm lying to the heroine in order to break apart her and her love interest' or any plot devices like that. I also liked that the love was understated, and not in a dramatic, "OH MY GOD I LOVE SO-AND-SO." (For example, Kou in chapter 8.)

The art style is clean and pleasant to look at, and it's not confusing to follow. I also like how the mangaka reverses the colors so whenever someone's lying, they appear mainly black with white outlines -- it really underscores the impact of the lies. Despite it being so short, the manga achieved in producing a full story with strong characters and plot.

Better than I expected

Most shoujos I read, I usually expect that it will be like the rest which is where there are no new scenarios (example: girl gets cornered by jealous snobs. Almost every shoujo I ever read) But shockingly (to me) it was good.

Only problem I had though, was the ending. I really hate those type of endings especially how

I'll definitely gave 10 and love this manga so much, if only...

it's not so cliche in the end, where they weren't blood related sibling.
LOL, that part doesn't suit my taste XD

but after all, this one's a good manga
the idea is unique, every problem cleared, and many moral lessons

hem about the artwork, nothing special for me
but everything's illustrated well

First off, if you are not a very open-minded person, read this spoiler:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
This is NOT incest. The male lead got adopted by his parents' supervisor (work-related) when they died, they are not blood related at all.

I came upon this manga by total chance, and am very happy I did.
It's one of the better shoujo out there ^.^

Though it is only shoujo because it takes partly place in high school (the male lead is an adult but his workplace is not really shown to us readers). There is some heavy stuff in there, though for some reason it left me cold, mostly (which means no crying). Maybe because I can't relate to the characters' circumstances that well. Though there were some sub plots that made me sad or/and angry (and cry too).

The thing with the lies seems pretty weird to me. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but while the secret behind her brother came to light, the most weird secret (where here lie detection ability comes from) got never explained. At the same time I really admire the idea behind it.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
"Humans lie and deceive people only to deceive themselves."

this manga is so sweet.... I just don't like the typical ending. The author should cut it a little bit before that fast forward scene. Anyhow, a good manga about how to learn to believe in people. Good character developments... i hope there'll be more like this :3 i'm addicted to this

I must say, i'm really glad i came across this manga. I was just looking for something that'd hold my interest and WHAM! I came across this one!
The concept in unique and the flow of the manga is so captivating. For once, the supernatural element isn't corny. That entwined with the plot, makes this manga unquestionably one of my Best! <3

Today, i accidentally cross this manga. How lucky coz it's my first attempt on 'clicking' randoms this morning. And it's weird when i still continue to click, even though the manga didn't have review, there's no summary and cover image.
I just clicked to read it, then i saw the cover page...
"wow the art is good..."
then when i read it, i got into it.
i love it!
It's raising my hope there's still more qualified manga out there waiting to be found just when i start to think that recently there's less good manga came out.
Good reading
