This story is about an average girl mistakenly ending up being a "dog" to the school's popular guy because of her pride of not admitting that she is not in the same "dating level" as her friends.

Sometimes you can totally tell the guy has a thing for the girl - but the girl just needs that piece of confirmation so badly because he really treats her like poop at times, yknow... but he never tells her he likes her because he's a shy guy who is proud about his emotions. So far the story has been pretty average, just your everyday occurrence at school ... hopefully the later chapters introduce a love-rival so that Kyouya can wake up and realize that the girl can't wait for him forever.

It's the "typical shoujo manga" but you read it anyway and anticipating for the updates! It's a fun read. It doesn't go near the word "amazing" but I think shoujo manga isn't all about amazing to begin with. I love reading through the development of their relationship. There were some awesome cute factors involved which makes me happy and the main characters didn't get on my nerves :3 (Erika's two annoying "friends" doesn't count) I hope this manga ends well.

My only concern after reading up to chapter 9 is that this shouldn't go for too long or it'll get boring with its repetitive formula (fight-tension-made up-cute factors). Manga is at its best when it's not overdone! I hope this manga falls into that category smile

I'm not a huge fan of shoujo either, but I often need my dose of shoujo manga in a while and I end up reading a lot of shoujo is a short lapse of time. Result: It's boring that I always read the same kind of story that I read in 5 min each. But I ended up with this one! I'M SO HAPPY! Since the apparition of Ao haru ride, I seem to be very picky when it comes to shoujo because Ao haru ride is really too good. But then this is appeared! OMg, it's so great. The storyline might be a little typical but the execution is different, the characters are likeable and you would want to know what will happen!

And the drawing is soo BEAUTIFUL! not messy and oh my, the guy is handsome!

It's okay. Personally I don't like manga where the guy degrades the heroine, but this doesn't annoy me THAT much. Eventhough the guy is a complete psycopath to begin with, he's changing - but the heroine is just the same old boring girl. Usually the heroine have that extra something - that oompht, energy or somethib, but she lacks that. She is just kind and weak and she's clingy too.

Despite that I still think it's decent read and it will probably hit right home for some readers with the SM/master-pet thing. I, on the other hand, wonder how far this story can go? It's a little blah at the moment. Especially with a weak heroine who is so easily satisfied.

The art is nice, one of the reason I started reading it, the same with the plot. I think it would of been way better if the main dude wasn't an ass. It was like way overboard on the way he acted towards her. This girl is a moron also for being friends with those group of girls and feeling like she had to have a fake relationship.
I've only read 2 chapters, so maybe everything starts changing later on but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to continue to read this

cliche but not really.

this is your typical shoujo manga, as in [stupid] normal/avarage girl who fell in love with the prince of the school. plus you add the unrequited love that turns requited. bull's eye. very. shoujo. cliche. plot.

and the reason why i said that it's "not really cliche" is because this manga is not focused on the dramatic side of the relationship. rather, it's your typical shoujo but presented in a comedic way. it's about the ups and downs of a relationship that does not dwell on drama. probably there is, but instead of feeling the angst, you will just brush it off with a laugh which is why i really like this manga smile

well if you are not too hung up about the realistic part of the storyline and don't take the characters too seriously, you kinda start enjoying its comical side.

At first i too was disappointed with the characters and the nonexistent character development. I mean she is a dummy who gets herself a jerk and just gets used to being treated like the idiot she is.
But than again, this is kinda just an aspect of the comedy. At first i was a bit sad about the way he treated her and her superficial reasons for love, then started to not care anymore and now i smile about all that stupid stuff.

In conclusion: if you don't take everything too serious and enjoy reading a clichelike but somehow stupidly different manga you can have some fun with this one.

I can relate to the female lead, love is blind truly, and a little hope would get you going, i have this lo-hate feeling toward her, since its annoying...very annoying but it's exactly the realistic feeling you'd get if you were in her position, as for the male lead he's jaded and a psycho to boost :s between the two of them the annoyance level is almost not indureable.
but the real reason i gave it an 8 is because it could be better than the typical shoujo feel the Author have set for the whole manga :S truly annoying like her characters, why couldn't she do better?!

Don't read the actual story, but skip to the individual scenes. I don't particularly like the characters or the story, but the scenes are cute, with witty dialogue.
Unfortunately, these scenes are few and far in between, which caused me to jump around to the parts that I actually thought were funny. I don't recommend reading through it, as if there's some deeper meaning. This is pure shoujo fluff, only a tad (okay, a lot) more irritating to read.
I can't imagine that this manga can last that much longer on its premise (except by adding random filler crap), but if the author decides to stop in about a volume or two, the individually cute scenes might earn this manga a 3. Maybe a 4.
I read this when I have time to burn, and I feel in the mood for page skipping. (It's actually quite a fun game. "Where's the jealous scene again?" sort of thing)
