This manga is beautiful. Not just the art, but the themes too. It made me remember how short life is. This manga says so many things. Every time I reread it I find something new. There are so many little details that Takao-sensei added. Everything in the manga is to build up to the end. It has great character development--the characters are so realistic that I felt like I could look up historical records about them.

This manga is so good and some people at manga fox gave away the ending without a single warning. I'm really shocked, I had just finished reading chap 12, and it had got me so excited...now, I don't really feel like reading it anymore...I could have liked the ending but now....

Ok, I read the last release and I guess it doesn't really matter if I know how it ends....because it's really good xD

It's interesting with Mitsuya going back in time and everything and the characters don't have wishywashy personalities. And the art is nice, clean and simple-ish.

Though it seems to have some shounen-ai ish moments...?

Edit: Yeah - definite suggestions up until where I've read. I like it. It's very cute. (And makes me want to laugh at times because of the reactions made)

ah, i just brought the complete volume of the manga today. I love it very much, and finished reading all the 8 volume today, and re-read it again and those 2 times i read it, i always cried, expecially at the last volume. The author has a very good sense of emotion and successed very, very amazingly. I rarely cried when i read a manga, and this one totally make me cry. It's just so sad...
The story is outstanding. There are a lot of time-slip story and i don't really like much of them, except this. The art looks somewhat off from outside but actually it's perfect. The character's expression can be seen clearly, and i love it.

Actually, i've read it online before i brought it today, but i got kinda busy and forgot all about this manga. But today, when i was walking around in a bookstore with my friends, they laughed a manga'a art and that happened to be this manga. Suddenly, i remembered about this and i brought all 8 volumes in one go. They laughed at me though, but i don't care much and read it all the way and i'll NEVER regret that i buyed this manga.

For those who love sad stories, this is a MUST READ! You'll be sorry if you don't. It's not translated completely though.

And for those who visits mangafox to read this and dislike or hate spoilers, NEVER OPEN A THREAD WITH A SPOILER WARNING IN THEM. Cause the spoiler there is a real one. If you hate spoilers, you'll totally regret it if you go in, and never says that the people who are spoiling them are at fault cause it's your fault for coming in.

Anyway, this manga is very very worth to read. Totally recommended!!

The truth is, i thought it was kind of boring and dropped it after vol.3... Though characters are nice, I don't get why it scored so many high ratings. Though I also don't get why I didn't like it that much. Maybe because for me it looked like this manga was mostly focused on historical details and lacked passion and love. Jin's feeling seemed not to change much till vol.4 - he is always the same towards Mitsuya, Mitsuya's thoughts are mostly about the differences between eras and people in general. I just don't see this thin red thread, linking them together ^^;
But manga had some good points, and historical moments were interesting too.
