Description
Hunted for possessing a heaven-defying object, Yun Che is a young man in both that life and the next. Throwing himself off a cliff to spite his pursuers, Yun Che is reincarnated as Xiao Che, a recently poisoned teen in another realm. The main character gives the villains the proper* punishment they deserve. I was getting tired of all of the wishy washy protagonists and finally this novel has one with the guts to do a thorough justice. I won't spoil the plot but you can expect an awesome MC, somewhat harem, and action.

EDIT: This series has unfortunately become incredibly boring. Each arc is repetitive and very long-winded, and I mean almost as bad as Bleach levels of stretching and repeating plot lines. Every villain is the same gloating, sadistic douchebag who wants to torture people and rape women (usually targeting someone from the MC's harem for extra douche points). And the MC ain't much better. As of the current raws released by the author everything is more or less stagnant. Just arc after arc of tournament battles and dimension travelling from the MC. In-story years passing with the MC stuck in another world while all the people whose lives he has impacted struggle and suffer in the wake of his over the top activities.
I feel bad for even liking this novel as all that investment of time and interest has been getting lesser and lesser payoffs until now I don't even expect anything good from this story anymore.
My first taste of a Chinese web novel and I have to say I'm very impressed.
At first I feared the MC was going to be yet another naive, pushover character like the majority of Japanese LN "heroes" but boy oh boy was I proven wrong! The first real impact I had from the MC is the scene described by bakaleaf in the review below me; it has to be THE most satisfying personal justice I have ever seen a protagonist commit upon the villain. In any Japanese LN the bastard would have gotten away scott free and spent the rest of the story gloating over the MC as the latter is powerless to do anything. But not with Ni Tian Xie Shen, oh no my friends, in THIS novel the MC does exactly what I wish most other weaksauce MCs would do in similar events. Revenge is best served bloody, up close and personal as well as leaving your deserved victim alive long enough to suffer physically AND mentally.
I am eagerly looking forward to the next scumbag that gets brutalized for his or her sins by Yun Che.

The MC is great not your average OP mc I mean not yet maybe..
The girls? Thumbs up! there back ground there character are one of a kind!

“With this cut, I want your eyes to never see again!!!”

The two rapid stabs swiftly penetrated Xiao Yulong’s pair of eyes, and turned his two wide eyeballs directly into a kind of black and white paste.
“WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!”
This miserable shriek that sounded like it had come from the depths of hell was extremely tragic, so much that it would make the bodies of those who had heard it tremble, and the scalp on their heads, numb. Yet Xiao Che’s entire face actually smiled with glee, as if hearing music from the heavens. He pulled the dagger out, narrowed his eyes, and spoke with a faint smile: “Tut tut, what a sonorous cry. Enjoy your voice now while you still can, because afterwards…. you may no longer send out such a pleasant sound again.”

The dagger mercilessly pierced into the center of Xiao Yulong’s mouth. As it was pulled out, a chunk of bloody red tongue and several tens of teeth flew out together.

The dagger flashed forward as the color of bright blood fluttered about. Xiao Yulong’s ears flew off his person and sprinkled blood as they fell onto the icy cold floor .
“With this cut, I want you to…. die without descendants!! You’re the sort of despicable person who’s unworthy of having such a future!!”
The bloody dagger dyed in red was raised, slanted downwards, and ruthlessly pierced through Xiao Yulong’s groin area….
“EEEEAAAAAH……..”
Xiao Yulong’s body became rigidly stiff, and even his extremely hoarse cry also slowly quieted down….
“With this cut, I want your eyes to never see again!!!”

I belive that if you found this novel then you most likely either read Stellar Transformation or Coiling Dragon. There are many similarities in this story. This story uses relationships much better and the characters are also much more "fleshed" out then "Ieattomatos" stories but it hasn't as fascinating lvl up system for ki as he uses.
Neither of stories are what I would call really mature per say but "Against the Gods" is more mature in its content then "Coiling Dragon" and "Stellar Transformation".
To sum it up, its a joy to read a more mature version wuxia.

I belive that if you found this novel then you most likely either read Stellar Transformation or Coiling Dragon. There are many similarities in this story. i know some might look at the +1 review and think twice as to starting this but i found that it was only misleading its actually quite good. main thing i like was that the main lead was not meant to be a model of righteousness but a flawed person with unique skills. the most important thing we find pretty early on is that in the novel "treasures" that usually are(in other novels) overkill and become too strong cheats are played down. i found that it took more emphasis on the individual skills , which while not completely new its not as widely used as artifacts that make a character too strong and fights pointless.
