I think most people are forgetting that this was intentionally a short manga to brush up on Kawashita's manga skills so she can prepare for her next project~
It wasn't so bad for 32 chapters, there was development in characters and relationship. The characters are unique and it still has the funny element in Kawashita's works.
Plus this was a new style of storytelling that she probably wanted to try out (different povs: like pulp fiction), hence the large amount of characters. So kudos to trying out something new!

It was interesting to have a huge variety of characters but in the end it was too short to really satisfy compared to his previous work. If it was MUCH longer that 32 chapters it could have been good.

I personally found this to be a slightly less enjoyable version of Salad Days, but with nicer art and some ecchiness. Although it was a somewhat fun read, I would recommend Salad Days much more as a shounen romance :\

Confusing at first, then funny at the end.

I like it, but some of I didn't. I mean they introduced all the characters, but I had no idea who was who when they all of sudden changed to another person's perspective. And they didn't talk about all of the characters. I mean we only see Chikura's older brother like once and he only had one line, they don't mention about him after that. But they did mention the relationships about everyone at the end......I think. Overall, it was okay. Plus, Yuuji Arihara looks cooler and better looking in the anime than the manga, he truly looked like a monkeyface in the manga.

Alright, let me get this out of the way, it's the worst manga I've read so far. I am a fan of Shounen romantic comedies, but this was too short, and too impersonal with the characters to really get any enjoyment out of reading it. Some of the pairings do annoy me, but that's not really what took away from the story.

This is a different kind of romantic comedy in that it's fairly obvious that most of the pairings have little chance of lasting long into the future (seeing as all of the characters are either in the third year of middle school or the first year in high school). It is a story about multiple characters' first love. In that sense, it is probably a realistic story, but realism doesn't equal enjoyment. Because so many characters were introduced in this short series, it is nearly impossible to give enough screen time for each of them. In fact, I remember one character was introduced in one chapter, but never again mentioned for the rest of the story.

Because this is a story about first loves, it is not expected to really develop any of the relationship. However, that is where I found the flaw. Because there was no development in the relationships, there was also no development in the characters. So, if you're looking for a mindless story where very little character development takes place, than give this story a shot. If you're looking for a story about love developing between two characters (or multiple if you're reading a harem) and the trials of getting the love to work, than this is not the story for you. The mangaka's other works are much better (Ichigo 100% and Limlim Kiss). Other Shounen romantic comedies/harems I recommend are Love Hina, I''s, Ichigo 100% , and Suzuka.

the story wasn't too bad but unfortunately it was cut to short for it to really stand out i believe. it needed a few more chapters under it's belt i believe to fully grasp a closure for the characters and the pace the story had with their relationships.

Had nothing to do.... read first 3 chapters.

I simply cannot believe there are people out there that enjoy reading this drivel. I stopped after reading the first Ichigo volume, and here I think I should've stopped after the first chapter.

From the ratings I can see that many people seem to like this piece of crap, and I'm really glad I'm not one of them. I don't really comment on stuff I don't like, but this one's too bad to ignore.

BTW.... The art's pretty bad as well. The girls all look fat!

School Ecchi Rumble

Kinda like an ecchi School Rumble, love triangles and unique personalities all over, even the gentle giant Zaitsu is a lot like Harima. Tho the story and setting are quite cliche, it's still pretty good especially for readers who want to see a more panties oriented School Rumble.

It's okay certainly readable but like previous comments the mangaka tries to introduce too many characters too fast. I had a hard time keeping track of who had a crush on who etc. Ichigo 100% was better but this is still alright.
