From Karma Falls Scanslations: Mei Tachibana has spent her 16 years without making either boyfriend or friends. One day, she roundhouse-kicks a popular boy in school, Yamato Kurosawa, because of a misunderstanding but for some reason it seems that he takes a liking to her and one-sidedly claims that they're friends.

So far, so good!
Only three chapters have been released so far, but I'm totally diggin' this series. Mei isn't your typical shoujo romance heroine, and Yamato isn't your typical shoujo romance hero. I didn't think it was possible but - could it be!? - he *isn't* an overbearing jerk, and she *isn't* a pushover. Yamato is by all accounts a genuinely great, cool guy, but he's going to have to give it his all to get stubborn, independent Mei is admit that she has feelings for him. I adore this couple! Three cheers for Hazuki Kanae and Karma Falls! I can't wait for the next chapter!
2 main sides
There are always three of readers, those that like it, those that don't, and those that feel neutral about it. However, I will only be talking about the two extreme sides as they are almost seemingly disregarding the others comments. I believe you should take into account both sides of the story and I'm saying this because there are those comments that are basically saying oh f the haters or comments like those nice reviews are all wrong, etc. My opinion is that I don't really like the manga (but still you should remember that my comment isn't the only comment) because I don't find the female lead likable and it's too long and boring too me. It's just like every other shoujo I've read, with a little more character development happening (which I hardly care about because I hate the female lead). Not to mention that I don't like that male lead too. All in all though, it did bring me some entertainment and the author must;ve put a lot of work in this so I'd never even consider giving this a 1. Anyways, you should try it yourself and see if you like it or not.

A good Shoujo Story
I really like this manga. The main character Mei is interesting, strong, and not cliche. In this manga you get a great blend of shoujo romance but you also get a story about learning to believe in yourself and open up to others. I think this manga does a great job showing some of the issues that people face in their teen years. I love the Mei's spirit and how she she is quiet but observant of the ones around her. She manages to be tough with out being Tsundere or cliche and that is refreshing to see in a manga.
I had thought that this manga is already finished. When completed the first 4 volumes that I saw that is still ongoing... But about the manga ... The art is kinda good, being started in 2008. But nothing suprising. The story is refreshing in a way that it is not cliche. And not predictable at all. I like that not every character stays in the story some goes and comes. So the story telling is good. Of course the main idea nothing special. But the mangaka tells in a way that makes it special.
Keep waiting for where will it go the story...
i recently pick up the manga again it really not that bad Mei's character is really not all wimpy like other shoujo females and her relationship with Yamato is really cute and simple. @LUEser Omg Mei is not plain looking! i think she is gorgeous and i like that it tells stories of other characters makes me understand their viewpoint of things and like them more.
I like this series. I love how the lead female has a distinct personality and isn't annoying like most shoujo manga. I also love how the male lead isnt perfect, it's nice to have a realistic(ish) story.
I have been waiting for this type of manga and I'm love it!!!!! NO one should give it a 1 the main character is very bold (as a female lead) and I love the art she cool and charming in her own little way =3 awesome roamnce this is probaly how I would react to a guy if I was dating!!

I love this series so far. The main characters seem much more realistic than typical manga characters, and there's a lot of insight that you don't get in other works, even those that are trying to be more in the literary fiction genre. There's some humour, but mostly it's just a super sweet character examination. Crossing my fingers for the scanlations to speed up when the series ends.
Giving this one up
Theres always too much info to read, the characters arent interesting and are just two good people that like eachother... very boring. Was interesting at first but I'm just a person thats interest is hard to keep so maybe it's just me. Oh well.
It took a while for me to get interested because the story went on and on about the side characters and rarely centered on the main characters. Kind of like Perfect Girl evolution. For a romance it wasn't really appealing. But finally, at chapter 17 onwards the focus might be back to their romance. Hopefully....
