Description
A boy and a girl are forced to join hands for all eternity!? In a land ravaged by an epidemic known as "Troy", the only people with healing arts capable of stopping the seizures caused by the disease are the Sisters. Although they have a high resistance to the disease, they are searching for a person who is truly immune, so that they can find a cure. The main character is Sister Elraine, one of the Sisters who becomes infected with Troy. But, when she touches Kiri, a seemingly ordinary boy, her seizures stop. Could he be the one!?
In volume 1 is included the oneshot Island:
A story that takes place on the day Aira turned 14, and learned the devastating truth about the island she lives on, which is completely surrounded by a huge wall...
This is a great disappointment. But the series was ended rather tactfully, if you ask me. It was ended in a way that would allow the mangaka to continue the series easily at a future time. That's somewhat promising to me. Maybe if the story so far is made into an anime, SJ will reinstate the manga.
Awesome, pure awesomeness. I looked forward to it every week and no one has come up with a manga like this. It's the situation that's set up in the first chapter that makes it good. Now, if the story weren't cut off so quickly, if Troy were cured, then I would have loved it and given it a 10.
considering that most shounen mangas span 10+ volume; and some start out lousy before they becoming better later; i think this manga was pretty decent, the story didn't advance too much or far which can leave a lot of open question and it wasn't too slow either it gave hints of the main plot and ended with one obstacle being overcome, which it didn't make tt seem that it was rush, if anything i though great they finish one journey now what is next? i didn't expect it to some kind of a dream sequence of someone writing it any it was nice how it was ended as as story that was being writen another character; at least this this manga could stand alone as a prologue; if the authors gets pickup by another publishing company and he can expand on the idea. i read all type of mangas and eventhough one has to wonder how can two people fight together stick together that was original; at least it answer such thing as how do you go the toilet, how do you shower while holding hand lol
it's a real pity they canceled it. i just looked it up on wikipedia, and the current lineup for the weekly shonen or whatever includes things like psyren (which is ok, i'd give it like, 5 or 6, but it's really just Gantz for more shonen audiences). double arts has one of the more original stories i've ever read, had great art, and is one of the few series that can actually follow up on it's claim of being a comedy series. anyways, due to it's cancellation, it's a short 23 chapters that are really worth reading. the forced ending isnt really too awful either, besides the obvious disappointment.
The first chapter made me think,"Hm...This should be decent..Its not going to be anything special though..." Wow, I was wrong. I love it now, and now it is finally starting to speed up. I really advise reading this! Just suffer through the first few chapters and then it will start to get better! For a new-ish manga this is very promising! It ended WAY Too soon! That was really unexpected!
My first impression was "it's just a romance story." So I read the first chapter and I really can't see why people like this so much. It's not really funny, and I can't tell you there wasn't any action because I only read the first 20 pages or so, none there, just healing and blushing. I thought the blue haired person was a guy at first. I'll read more and give you a better "comment." It's unfair to rate it if you've never read it. Who knows, I might end up liking this one.
This mangaka is so creative! The art is really nice, the story is original and keeps you wanting for more. I have to tsay this is the only manga story like this anywhere.
soo cool! Fav character is soo Sui! I absolutely loved how she started crying after she lost to Denzell (Yes, i kno I'm just so nice aren't i? =.=") she was so cute! Loving every chapter but, personally, I reckon it's taking waaay too long to get the falzen unit into thte story... Apart from that I think its awesome!
