Katsuragi Keima is known on the net as the god of getting the girls while in real life he’s known as otamegane and he hates all real girls. However he is approached by Elsie, a devil from hell, to help her in catching runaway spirits that hide in people. Apparently the spirits only hide in the hearts of girls and the only way to get the souls out is by making the girl fall in love so the spirit gets forced out. And he’s not allowed to fail or he will lose his head.

When I first saw a chapter of TWGOK, I clicked on it as a joke. But after reading, I was engrossed. The characters are unique, and the storyline interesting and humerous. The art is beautiful, and the way the characters interact with each other is brilliant.
Definitely a 10/10 from me.

Best until 105
after that the plot gets dragged on, goes into ridiculous directions and the author downright forgets everything that made the previous 105 chapters a success. Laclongquan hit the nail on the head with his explanation about the ending. I'm honestly pissed that I read till 185 whereas I should have stopped when the manga had peaked. I skipped to the last 2 chapters and I have no intention of reading through the rest. Talk about another disappointing middle and ending.
The best Romantic Comedy Manga Ever
10/10 No contest actually, this series has beaten my most favorite romantic comedy manga before I read TWGOK : Love Hina .
By the way: If you already watched the anime, but have yet to read the manga. Seriously, read this manga. The manga completely blew the anime version of TWGOK out of the water. I read the manga first before I watched the anime, so I know how the anime can't capture the "feel" when you read the manga, and there are so much detailed explanation that has been missing from anime scene which you can only find in manga, and also they cut so much scene from manga, so in sort, please read the manga.
I need to remind you that I probably have read countless romantic comedy manga, but there's none of them that actually have something that only TWGOK had: 1. Anti social main character, and genius at the same time. 2. Explaining things in detailed manner on how the girls brain and hearts really work together. It's like dissecting rat on your biology lab for scientific purpose. Thats how the general feel you get when you read this. So there's a logic behind every conversation, not just mindless numbing conversation about the girls emotions, but also with the purpose behind it and what domino effect will it have to your goal. 3. If you are a fan of tokimeki memorial , or similar genre that has a girls dialog to capture her in video games, this is a must read manga for you. 4. I'm a hardcore Gundam UC fans, and if you are like me, you will also probably like this because it's very obvious the mangaka liked Gundam UC too because there are so many insider "the first Gundam" joke on this manga, and I find it hillarious.

can't stop reading
once i read this manga i can't stop reading it.i curious what is gonna happen next.i read,i read day after day.and i realize that the chapter was out,and damn i can't stop waiting....i really like this kind of manga especially when the main character was a Sim-dating gamer such as my self but i can't finish 4 games at a time, and i don't have god mode....this manga is the best off all i read before...
I picked this series up 3 days ago and between working a full time job and little rest, I've managed to finally catch up and begin the anime! (it really is that good) This series is powerfully addicting if you enjoy romance, a strong protagonist, lots of girls, and storyline that constantly moves forward. Keima Katsuragi is a cold-hearted tactical dating-genius. He can "see the ending" to a kiss but when it comes to understanding feelings - he really sucks. He easily gets caught up in the moment and before realizing it, he doesn't know how to handle love. Reading this series really brings back memories.. start reading this now if you've ever fallen in love, or haven't because you just might learn a thing or two. [currently ch. 167]
great ! but...
I love it. It's one of my absolute favourites. The story is well-thought, and although it has its bad points(none is perfect), it kept me entertained. also, those fucking cliff-hangers... whoa, this manga may well contain the worst cliff-hangers I've seen. well, anyway, I love it, but looking at the comments It seems, you either love it, adore it, hate it or find it boring. so, it's totally worth the try =)
Love it but that ending was meh!
It was one of the best mangas I have ever read everything was pretty good but the last arc was pretty rushed in my opinion and the ending just destroyed the whole thing for me.The one character I didn't want him to end up with and that's what happened but still it's a great read.I loved the manga so much that when the ending happened I died a bit but it's still worth a read.It would have been a 10 if I didnt dislike the ending.
This manga was solid for every arc, except the last. The ending seems extremelly rushed, characters don't get disclosure, plotholes get handwaved...
Do yourself a favor and read ultil all the goddesses are shown, then quit. The manga issomewhat solid up to that point.
It was a great story
If i did not love the whole premise and especially the main character so much, I would say this is a common story that used quite a lot imagination to camouflage itself as something different.
The main character is by far the most likable and interesting thing in the whole story. I am sure whoever reads this coming from the anime, will know what I mean.
One of the biggest + of this anime, is that it uses no excessive ecchi scenes (you know, the ones that make the manga/anime look like hentai) to attract people. It is all about the story. Mind you I am a fan of mild ecchi, but I feel delighted to see that even "new" manga do not need to pull the half naked card, so they can win their audience.
It is mentioned by other comments too, but it seems a lot of people gave a bad mark, cause they did not like the ending.. or more like who the hero chooses by the end. For me it was not the girl/s I was rooting for, but that did NOT ruin the end. I actually was wondering what kind of ending it would have, cause I have read the comments before. I was pleasantly shocked to find out that the ending was nice and satisfying.
No offence to people that disliked it, but I would hate it more if it was left TOTALLY open, leaving in in the imagination of the read what happens after. Like Keima said; a game without an ending, is a shity game.
Loved reading it and felt satisfied with it's ending.
I want to point out that I do not believe it is a perfect story. The 10 again is mostly because I liked Keima and I was fully pleased throughout the whole manga. There are times that it feels like they were added in to fill up more volumes, while on other points it feels the story gets too rushed. Amusingly enough, Keima mentions something alike withing the story, which actually makes the experience more funny and lighter for me.
Whoever like me ends up reading from comments here that he actually ends up with someone, enjoy like I did wondering and thinking who it will be. For better or worse, I think his choice was not bad. If anything, it was exactly fitting for him.
Would read this again for sure!
Awesome, non-perverted main character who is a dating sim master--it's pretty fascinating to see how he reacts to everything, and I rather liked it.
Seriously, oh my god! The current arc (190+ I think?) is so CUTE, oh my god!
