It may not be action filled like Claymore or Gantz and definitely not as dark as Goth , Petshop of Horrors, or even Vampire Knight.
But it's definitely worth a read (unless you're looking for action, in which case, look for Naruto. Or looking for a story about vengeance, then read Old Boy. Or looking for a story about angst, then read Deep Love. Or looking for romance, then read Vampire Knight.)

Not all vampires need to be bloodlusting, some may even hate drawing blood.
And in a way, this manga is a bit more realistic (slice of life) than a lot of the vampire mangas out there.

they should atleast make good vampire romance! damn they no good vampire story, if the were all the main chick are really weak, the world need some good vampire love story right now, anyway can't stand the main chick, she so boring doesn't do anything, only suck one person blood..then what the point of being a vampire for..

Ive alway like this kind of manga. in my opinion, this manga can give a kind of soft and sweet feeling but at the same time, it can also get kind of dark and mysterious, like some kind of secret is hidding behind each scene....lol totally in love with in

Yeah, the story gives me a pleasant and calm feeling when reading, especially these scenes with the two main characters

i just love it, shes cuute, story is good, interesting. i like it.

The story is nice, the art always give me a pleasant and peaceful feeling even though there are murder scenes, Misaki's so pure and innocent <3 <3 <3

I like the art, the main guy is ok, and the vampire girl is a huge dissapointment.
First, she looks like shes 14, and even worse, i think she is 14.
second. she isn't a vampire, she is a 12 year old shoujo reading, cake eating idiot that accidentily fell into the pages af a comic. No blood lust, no aura of the supernatural, no predatory instincts, no nothing!!!! Why the hell make her a vampire at all? Argh! The last think the world needs is girl vampire romance!

This story masterfully shifts between a light-hearted and naive relationship between the two main characters to a dark, bloody story about the vampires. It starts out a little slow, but really comes out strong in the second volume

Very enjoyable art, characters at the moment are likeable. Story may seem stale but its slice of life sense does not disappoint.

Update after 2 Volumes:

I'm liking the development. Even though Misaki is very one dimensional Kuroe more than makes up for the character factor. Anyone else really want more appearances by the adorable actress?
