Beings who possess animal-like powers walk among humans in this alternate universe. These mysterious mutants, the +Anima, are shunned by society. Four outcasts in particular--Cooro, a boy with crow-like powers; Husky, a fish-boy; Senri, a bear +Anima; and a girl named Nana, who wields the power of the bat--search for others like themselves while trying to gain acceptance in a world cruel to anyone or anything that is different.

This is a...somewhat relaxing manga. There isn't any suspense or conflict. The drawings are good. The dialogue is funny. Not a very serious manga. The childishness is what makes this manga cute. Perhaps the readers are moved by the characters' naiveness and innocence.

A Great Manga
+Anima is a very cute manga, one of the best I've read as of yet. It's a good one to read if you're tired of long and dark plots that are hard to understand. I rated a 10 because I personally couldn't love it more, but then, I usually tend to lean toward the stuff that most people don't like... o.O; I think this is an exception though. ^_^
this series is soo kawaii ((cant spell but i mean cute)) and i like it a lot.. and i am hoping to read the whole series
+anima has been lisenced in the US by Tokyopop
There isn't so much of a plot in this manga, but the fun loving characters and short little stories make this a nice read when you want to avoid the more complex and darker stories out there. Plus I love the art!
It's cute! and funny! and the characters are great! the art is pretty good too!~ These stories are just MEGA- Kawaii!!! lmao~ *jumps up and down on a high*
The characters are fun and the art is quite good. There isn't much of a plotline (from what I've seen), but the cute stories about the main characters are nevertheless enjoyable to read.
