Martial arts stories invariably ride on the main character's personality. This one's personality is aces so far. Classic underdog that disguises a cunning mind with brutish rope-a-dope methods.

He's surrounded by top grade a-holes constantly looking down on him. You know their steroid drinking butts stand no chance in the end but seeing how he gets them is where the fun's at. A classic story with a classic setup that's done in good style so far. The problem is that it seems to fall for the classic martial arts trap: the fights are constantly stretched out. If you can stomach this, this is a good read. If you hate the dragon ball watch my new move style comic, avoid this like the plague.

i've read at least 50 series of manga and am still reading hundreds but for some reason i jus cant get enough of veritas so much tht i would say it was my second favorite manga series.(of course GTO is better)

The summary is off! Altho' Its pretty much starts out with Kangryong we se less and less of him as the story goes. At ch 46 we havent seen him for a few chappies and even earlier rarely at all, also he make little to no progress at all. This is no longer story about Kangryong but rather a school filled with freaks. Still pretty good with plenty of action.

Feels too much like I'm reading "Change Guy" again starting from the point in that story where the action shifted to the prison. Veritas has better eye candy with female characters like Madoka an Vera, but they aren't particularly likeable. So far the only character in the story I do like is Honse. The main character Gangryong has such a cocky poor attitude almost all the time that I find myself cheering for his opponents to win when he fights them.

a good martial arts manga. quite an ordinary premise to start with (young guy wants to be strongest, finds a master who trains him) but the becomes different enough not to be too samey.
the different fighting styles and large character base is pretty entertaining. somewhat reminscent to bleach in a way. and the plot is unfolding nicely.
also - THE ART IS SIMPLY AAAAMAZING. i cant find any other works by KIM Dong-hoon, but i really want to see them if any exists.
the girls are drawn absolutley fantastically, which i like
if you like fighting manga, check it out. this is the peak of korean manhwa

Well, i passed this series many time with out reading it just because of the description, but then i started to read chapter 34 35 then 41 42. It's really a good fighting Manhwa, i'm reading chapter 1 right now and it seems to be unexpectedly good.
Of course the art is fan-service with almost every characters look like super models but i 'm fine with it. They are abnormal people anyway.And the plot, as in chapter 1 is interesting enough for an over used theme in manga/manhwa like super power fighting in highschool . I just like how the main character said "i want to be ridiculously strong like you..." that is the spirit, boys !

I love this manhwa I gave it a 9/10 because the beginning is a bit slow and takes time to get into the plot. However, the art is great and the characters are good. Sometimes the characters frustrate me but whatever.

I think that is you love or like this manhwa, you should read The Breaker. It is very similar in that it involves martial arts, school life, supernatural stuff, and a mix of comedy to it. I don't think that you should just stop with The Breaker, you should also read Chunchu, though it is quite different than The Breaker or Veritas, it is still very good. Chunchu is a historic series but it is action packed, filled with swords, and more.

PS You should also read Beezlebub. It is so funny and it has some action.

At first it started as ur typical shounen type one, but later on it reveals a bit deeper and darker story which i hope will stay that way.

I also like that they dont make a hussle between gender in a fight, the girls get really beaten up and not pampered.

Most noticable is the character designs, the girls are way more beautiful then any manga or manhwa ive read. if the artist of this manhwa turned to a hentai artist he would earn a fortune ;D

nice manhwa ,at first the story not much interesting,but now things get a bit different ,i hope this manhwa last longer ,many good manga/manhwa just ended half way ,too bad

One of the best manhwas available right now. I like the fact that the main chracter isn't all powerful and that there is room for progression. Storyline is impressive and in the top 3 best drawn mangas/manhwas of all time. Only thing missing is a hot girlfriend, lol.
