i know there are more extreme stories out there, but for me who dislike these type of abit angsty/horror stories usually this is already enough of a mind-fuck. it had some horror and mystery involve, but NOT the meaningless type, which was why i grew fascinated enough to read finish it. the mangaka sure knew what she was doing, what she wanted express and clearly planned her story properly.
read it in one sitting, and the ending was satisfying. non-conventional. lots of angst/pain in between start and end, so won't recommend if you're looking for light-hearted stuffs.

It has been a awhile since i have felt compelled to finish a manga such a long manga in one sitting. But this manga had my emotions on a roller coaster. If you are looking for a strange romance, with mystery and a bit of horror then read this.
Amazing.

Definitely worth the read. I tried reading it before, couldn't get into it, tried a few months later (by accident! I didn't know it was the same story), and i got into it after the first two chapters. The story has soooo many wild twists and turns. I definitely didn't see that ending coming. =) I like that. Anyway, worth the read if you can get past a small first chapter and read into the second. =)
A good original plot

I admit this is a good story, like what I expect from Mizushiro Setona sensei. I just finished reading the story. But there's one thing that I dont understand. Please someone answer this :
Aaah...it's like I reading Yuri-Yaoi-Het story XDDDD (I'm a fan of Yaoi)
btw, OMG!!!! IT's Like reading Het story of The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese!!! Imagase = Ichijo! XD

I Know the meaning of graduated is they are finally born as a child in a real world. But why do they have to have an experience in the dream like that? I mean...is what they felt in dream is something that they will get in a reality?? Or is it just their past? please tell me.
I think I should reread it so I'll know ALL the meaning of this story. but still...it's good. Just confused with the endingAaah...it's like I reading Yuri-Yaoi-Het story XDDDD (I'm a fan of Yaoi)

This is one of the most intriguing manga... it pulls you into the story and you'll explore further on the characters. Mystery pops out one after another and it'll only make you wonder even more.
And then, when you approach the ending... POOF! you'll find the answer to all your questions. So what I mean is, READ IT! The ending is really different from what one would expect.

I don't even know what to think about this one. I wonder if I'm the only one who found the end sad?
But, don't let that deter you. It really is a good manga. Pretty original too.

The whole story is about the main character being both boy and girl, and in the end, just ends up being a girl. It kinda felt like a rip-off. Half the main character dies. Just kinda left me feeling disappointed or something. And I also don't get the part where if you graduate you're reborn, but in the end everyone? was reborn.
But, don't let that deter you. It really is a good manga. Pretty original too.

At first I just wanted the story to be over, it didn't catch my interest, but I am glad I continued reading until the end. The storyline was unique, as well as the "real" setting. But I feel kind of let down due to the anti-climatic ending. The mystery and emotions were building up, then it came out flat. Even with the end, I believe anyone who has an interest in manga should read this series at least once.
Wow, this comment is completely hypocritical.

The premise is good. I like how original this story is. It's very psychological and all. That's charming.
But as much I liked the idea, I don't have the patience to sit through ten volumes of the same emotional "boy-or-girl" question. And the worst part?
I read up to volume 5 or 6, and then skipped all the way to the end. And it still made perfect sense.
I didn't like this as much as X-Day. But the one thing I do like about this story is that, at the very least, this manga-ka lets always chooses one in the end. She doesn't leave you with the "protagonist picks neither love interest" ending. So, if you want to know who Mashiro ends up with, fear not.
You'll find out.

this manga isn't as good as everyone says. beginning is good, ending is good, but everything else is awful... just another ditzy, indecisive, shoujo heroine. only difference is this heroine is half-guy, which isn't much really.
