This is SO FUNNY. I can't stop laughing, each page is better than the next. I hope this gets scanned completely since I really don't want to miss anything. I love this. A cop and yakuza, oh my god. ^_^

I don't hate this series at all. It's pure fluff for sure, but Yamamoto kotetsuko has well refined, expressive art and decently engaging writing. She is one of my favorites as far as fluffier stuff goes. That said, things have gotten pretty stale at this point. I don't know how many times new rivals can possibly be written in or people can be kidnapped. It probably should have ended gracefully a while ago unless something else was going to happen. I continue to read it though, so that says something.

I loved this story * -- * . It is super cute and sweet ... I liked the Tomoharu, he is not the kind fluffy but is a character enjoyable to see. Aki is super cute and funny ... I loved it. I wish you more stories of the other couples ♥

I kind of agree mtmt1311, though not completely. for example, i do like that this story takes a lighter spin on the yakuza thing compared to those heavy angst ones, yet has a few 'serious' moments where you realise you've forgotten tomo IS a cop, and remember that their love is in a sense forbidden. so i felt it was a pity that there weren't more of those moments. but one thing that really irks me now is the new arc about the two schoolboys and sempai. i sometimes like when the focus drifts a little away from the main characters and onto their close friends, but i feel here it wasn't executed well. I do not like those two boys AT ALL (their characters just irritate me!). Sempai's is sweeter, but i don't like the plastic feel of "me and all my friends are gay" i'm getting here. i'm getting this vibe that the author is out of ideas and this story is declining as a result. I really hope the later volumes of this manga don't overwrite all the good the earlier volumes brought.

I love the comedy, I love how cute it is as well. Reread it and loved it because of that.

Things I didn't like though:
-Aki can seriously be annoying, he acts like a 13 y.o. at times. I keep forgetting he's 25!
-That annoying trait some mangas (especially those by this author) have of all or most of the cast members being gay,
-the fact that it feels like every chapter is about one character being jealous about another characters relationship character A's SO. Ueda's being jealous about his brother, Aki's cousins, Aki's friends etc. It's pretty clear that the author is out of ideas and is just rehashing the jealousy plot for more chapters.

Also, the nipple play, calm down dude!

Conclusion: If you'd like a fluffy yaoi involving a straight seme and a horny uke, with lots of comedy and occasional serious moments, you'll like this. Don't read if you want a plot or a solid story line though.

This is cute and funny but its a little overrated. It has good moments but its not awesome like what people said. Aki can be a handful at times. His personality is a naive kid rather than a young master of yakuza. I never seen him or his family actually do anything yakuza-related works. Also, he likes to put up a strong attitude but hes rather weak.
Another thing is there are too many love rivals and I got bored of this cliche plot. Lastly, u can barely see their relationship as policeman and yakuza. Its good for a light read but its not like the best ever.
