Description
Nina is in love with her kind, handsome neighbor Kyosuke, and though he’s off to high school, she doesn’t see their friendly relationship changing much at all. But soon enough, Nina finds Kyosuke kissing another girl, his classmate. Will the one-year difference change them after all? Or can she work up the courage to confess and win him over once and for all? A sweet story of the joys and pains of first love. (Source: Kodansha Comics)

1st chap ends with a typical dramatic cliffhanger (so typical it's not that dramatic.)
The main character's cute and it seems like the guy likes her but then there's the addition of the other girl (who seems to be a two-faced sneak, but we'll see). Usual love triangle stuff (but like I said, it really seems like the guy likes Nina better.)
Art is really pretty. I think it's different from Senpai to Kanojo. That one was more melodramatic and heavy on the love triangle emotional-ness. This one seems more funny and light.
I think it's worth keeping a tab on, just to see how it turns out. Worth a try obviously if you haven't read it.

It was good overall to me. I think it's the first manga that I ever hated a character this much
The story is quite slow and sometimes there were some unnecessary things happened. But overall, I enjoyed it. The ending was satisfying for me.
Recommended to everyone.

I didn't like it, but it had potential and there were a few cute moments.
This series could have been a really sweet story of first love, but it all goes so wrong halfway into volume one. Let me just break it down:
The characters - Nina was sweet, but such a cry baby. Oh man, she was literally crying in every other scene and I had no clue why. It was just unecessary. She was also a little too naive and obtuse. As for Kyousuke, man, what was he doing? I didn't understand him at all. Both characters were horribly developed (yeh, even for a manga). I didn't get their motivations at all.
The story - It was confusing, and not just the panels. The dialogue as well (even that was scarce in parts). This could have been a really nice story of a girls crush and how she has to rethink her feelings as she grows and their lives don't connect in every way for the first time. I could have even appreciated the ending if the writing were better. As is, the plot didn't flow well and that killed it for me.
The art - Getting straight to the point, I didn't care for it. I felt it was inconsistent and messy.

I really love this manga!!! the main female protagonist was a tad annoying and you'd be like ughh smack smack smack your head towards the monitor thinking when will she grow up, but hey she did experience a mature growth and i really love that about this manga not to mention the ending was great too!!! I won't write much since I don't want to ruin it for anyone but hey FINALLY it's a must read!
well...

I agree with the others who think that the boy actually likes nina, indeed he doesn't show much interest for his school mate, but as every male lead in nanba atsuko's works he is the good guy, so
As for the girl, if she's like any love rival drawn by the author, she's not mean or anything and she'll probably be nina's friend. It would be nice to have an ambiguous character this time.
I'm looking forward to see what nina will do, chasing her love or avoiding it.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I guess after the kiss he will feel obliged to go out with the girl or will start feeling confused as it was the girl who took the first step and this could have a deep impact on what he thinks of her
