The story starts with a seemingly unassuming class rep Adachi Hana who has taken an interest in the school's known delinquent, Shinagawa Daichi. Just what is her reason for following Daichi and wanting him to go on the class field trip?
Included in volume 11 is the story called Fairy Megane, a crossover between Fairy Tail and Yanki-kun to Megane-chan.

Honestly, I loved it. It is hilarious, addicting, and great art. The story isn't too confusing and you will easily love the characters. This is a must-read series. The updates on scans aren't that bad either so you won't really need to wait 516548651 weeks to see what happens this is rekindling my passion for it so I think I will re-read it right now (:

Very strong series
Decent humor, good art, and several times where it is hard to just not laugh at what is going on. Very awesome series, can't wait to read more. This is added to my list of "Must buy" as soon as I see it in a book store.
Funny, funny, funny.
The last review is correct. It is just sort of funny until the Student Council arc. Then, it becomes "I can't catch my breath this is so funny", mostly because of the new characters. Early on, there is basically one story----Glasses Girl tries to reform Yankee Boy but ends up acting like a Yankee herself. Good for a volume or two, but two characters can not sustain a multivolume series. Eventually, they have to grow, and their relationship has to evolve---otherwise the reader loses interest. Think of how boring "Cat Street" would be with just two characters, nothing but "Extroverted guy tries to get shut in girl to come out of the house" for twelve volumes. Once the author starts adding new characters, the possibilities for comic interactions become almost limitless.
It's so hillarious. The first part only about 2 main character is funny but quite pointless. But after vol 4,the story is amzing. The 2nd year started, they become the student council member, new characters invovled. It turns to a bit like GTO or Sket dance, they go around fix school problems by such a funny way.

would have given 10
but the lack of explanation on the two protagonists side was too much shounen and comedy. still, it was probably the most romantic "end" (the end is rarely ever known in mangas, and in this one it's maybe vague too) i have ever seen.
i gave 8 because i admit i would have liked a more solid end on the romance part. maybe that's why it doesn't get a romance genre tag. the romance "subplot" was actually one of the most interesting things in this one, it's indeed a pity that the author left it too much to the readers imagination.
i guess if you are unsatisfied, just take it as a happy end. it was still fairly romantic in its own way (maybe the perfect end). would have liked an extra or a few extra chapters though. still, it was much better than many of the superficial audience ends you see usually.

Finish scanlating please?
At first I thought this was a shoujo-ish shounen manga but after reading a few chapters guess I was wrong. I mean, I never thought that the mangaka is a woman. Although one might think it's focused on Adachi and Shinagawa, I think from the start it was about Shinagawa. His sense of responsibility is quite amazing and he's very reliable. I love how some of the main characters have more to them than you think. But there's too much sub-characters it's hard to take track of everyone.

This is excellent shounen- school life comedy. If that's what you're looking for you really can't go wrong with this. Characters are great, plot is awesome. There was a time when the story was dragging on a bit (mid Ch50-s I believe), but if you read on it'll quickly become awesome again. Personally I find the only drawback that there could be more consistent romance and actual plot development, but to keep a manga running for a long time there's a lot of slice-of-life/filler. Overall it was very enjoyable though. Recommended!!

Too bad about the open ending

just another gag manga in the begining. But later it picks pace and trully deserves 10/10. Student council members are hillarious. And later even more side characters are introduced (somehow feels like One piece or Negima).
One of my favorites.
This manga is so funny, like everyone else says. I usually don't laugh when I read anything, so this is a pretty amazing story. xD I just love Shinagawa and Izumi, and how they're always fighting, it's cute. Lol. I think it's nice how they handle student council stuff in a ridiculous way. The story is definitely a 10/10.
