the heroine is just unheroic

Honestly, I found the heroine of this manga unattractive. She's short, unstylish, and uncharming that makes her a snowman not an ice-queen despite the fact that the author gives his best effort to perform her to fit for such a big role. To be specific, simply I do not think it works well in terms of her outlook for what general shounen manga should express. For example, think about her glasses, where the heck on Earth would real male men fall in love with glasses from 2-D Earth? Here, I am talking about majority not minority. And what about that seemingly boring trait of hers which I think is incompetent nowadays against other heroines? I would prefer to see somewhat energetic and fresh personality that gives some relaxation and sensibility of loveliness that grabs the readers' attention while successfully doing her job as a part of the storyline. I wouldn't bother to read straight a whole night with that kind of heroine dancing before my eye on the distinguished setting such as this.

Can anybody stop these damn waned, tattered statements like “I can’t wait to see how you’ll improve” or “I will let you alive for now because you are too weak” or “I am letting you go for the future usage of yours” or “You are not yet to be die here because you are my rival” at the instant when our almighty protagonist is at the pinch?? Should I put this simply? “Oh my god, they are all overused in shounen manga”? Young mangakas these days should at least read some more mangas until they get sick of such statements before they do their job.

Maybe im too old for shounen manga but i really hate brainless hero with senseless "justice". In a life and dead hanging on balance, they didnt feel any fear/scare and do a lot of stupid thing. I don't understand what the hell he thinking. Cant feel the suspend or panic when they stuck in trouble because you know it definitely wont go worst. The plot borrow a lot of idea from other manga, mainly gantz.

from the beginning each chapter already give the clue what happen next example: Sakurako Amamiya is the character that i understand from the begining have sense of darkness that girl has some darkness on herself but she able to deteminded it without she knowing it then it's true the proof is after she lost of some of her part after batlle with the "false prophet" she starting lost control of herself...
and maybe this happen because the universe starting to balance the "axis".
Ageha is stupid he should know he should not change the future by creating parrale world..it's only making it worse he should fight at the future together with the child...stupid ageha..maybe the director want make story have more chapter by creating this conflict...

Psyren is a very good manga, it seeemed like a light action shounen manga at first but it quickly turned into a battle oriented Naruto/Bleach manga. I like this series a lot, it is one of the few series in which Iike the entire cast of characters. I think the whole traveling to the future and back is a fantqastic idea, and the psychic powers although not original is a compelling concept. My main problem with this manga is that the main enemy organization is too small, 5 members? That's ridiculous, it's as if the author is making a point to make this a relatively short manga(which is something I suspect he might be regretting now); I think it was clever how the author killed almost the entire cast on the first mission to create the atmosphere that any character could die at anytime(Gantz did something similar); this series has some very likable characters, good fights and a well done plot, I fear however that the series may be too short for the author to develop characters in depth. I reccomend this manga to any shounen fan. I expect I will love this series more as it progresses.
I give it 8.9 out of 10

I propably dont have a full score for it in my reading list yet but I should. Ive been reading it for a while and been hooked just as long. By now I completely forgot the bit that is in the description about Ageha though. Even though people have Superhuman powers *PSI*, the usage iof it is very interesting and fun to read and its not like some people are just super powerfull. On first glance a lot of things seem generic like The Wise being a group of 5 bosses.
But the personalities of the Elmore kids, the depth between at first glance strong characters and the actions of people I jus'don't know how to explain it other then GREAT.
I feel that Ageha has a little less depth though but maybe thats how you really get sucked into it through his vision.

Although I enjoy the story very much, it is extremely predictable. Everything I think that will happen ends up happening within a few chapters. But as I said, I still enjoy it
un%$#^ing believable.

I have read somewhere around 100+ different manga, from Abara to Zombie Powder and this is by far the worst manga I have ever read, it bored me to %^$#ing tears. Nothing new at all just more generic shounen stuff, the art, characters and story are just tired recycled crap. First time I have ever giving up on a manga after reading only one chapter.

The description of this manga isn't very good. Without giving too much away, this manga utilizes a alternative world/universe structure similar to Dual, that has elements of post apocalyptic survivor elements, as well as allowing for usual city-in-tokyo action.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
While there isn't a great deal of romance (a alternate love interest does not show up for quite awhile), the manga still develops well, and actually picks up even more later on. Worth reading.
Solid, just don't expect too much.

It's a solid series that keeps entertaining. It feels heavily borrowed from other popular media but what really is original these days? The plot is lackluster in the beginning but it really does take form and you get to invested in the characters and this world. The series has not finished but it seem to be gearing to some epicness. Like most series the main character is hardly the most interesting, in fact they usually are the most generic. But the side characters are fantastic and meaningful. The pacing is perfect and the plot consistent. There isn't much more you can ask in a manga.
Solid read, just don't expect too much and you will be pleased that you read it.

The beginning was fairly simple, in the sense that beat the bad the guys/ monsters get to the exit and rinse and repeat, which will get u hooked. With area we r in now its quite complicated, this is one where u dont skip ahead to c whats going on cause u will b thoroughly confused, but cause it changes it up it keeps u hooked and lookin 4 more. Even with the complication is still an awesome read and i look forward next week 4 a new release.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The root of all the complication in the manga is the butterfly effect, which is physics theory, the author seems to play a lot into that so we should a lot more effects caused by the past 2 make a huge problem in the future. Its funny in the sense that this whole manga is based on the butterfly effect or what ive come to understand of it (the butterfly effect) its definitely gonna b a bumpy ride from here out, and no i did not get that from star trek movie, i haven't seen it yet so don't think i copied off of there.
