She drew Mars? She certainly has talent. Her artwork has improved A LOT, and after I read this, I am looking forward to her future works (Mars is another story =|) Those of you who like sci-fi and psychology would definitely enjoy this. The story is solid enough and all or at least most of the loose ends are tied up at the end. Plus, I love how the romance was incoperated into the story without making it suck (ie, just the right amount of romance). One thing that I didn't like was the whole hypnosis thing. it's a last resort kind of thing but... ever heard of 'hypnotic suggestion"? ~~~Yeah. Anyway that was my only pet peeve. Overall, this was a very good sci-fi psychological thriller.
Wonderful. Better than Deathnote, Darker than Monster.

This is one anime that I have to say was best translated. Everything was so clear but deep and mysterious. All the scenes felt like it flowed into each other creating an effect on me of not being able to stop, which I missed for a long time. DONT READ what other people say because this anime requires a bit of education and intelligence to understand. Unless u admit ur dumb and wanna read brainless manga like onepiece or naruto, then dont pay attention to those that cant figure out whats happening cause they're just immature kids. Eternal Sabbath truely is a masterpiece.
Souryo Fuyumi's masterpiece

Of all the works she made, this is the first one of hers that I read and fell in love with. I was in a limbo after I read this thinking how can anyone make something so complete. That was the early years of my manga reading, now about 30 or more mangas later I still think this is one of the greatest mangas ever. I am so surprised this wasnt made into anime when so many lame ones are made into anime, in fact none of Souryo Fuyumi's works made it into animes, I wonder why...This has all the things I want in a manga though the ending is a bit sad...but the concept is interesting..for the sad ending I would give this 9.8

Personally, this manga isn't as great as everyone says it was/is. Its still pretty good though, although I disliked the ending. Not bad, not bad at all, though.

The series was very good and I read it in a matter of two days, it was so addicting. However... the ending disappointed me a lot. Regardless of the ending though, it was a GREAT manga.
One of my favorites ;A;

It's an amazing manga. The wonderful pacing really stood out to me. The scenes were just the right length- not so long that I'd get bored and not so short that I would be confused and unsatisfied.
I really loved the way it approached the issues it does. Like in the first volume with the two boys. It really made me ask myself which one deserves punishment. (I started feeling sorry for the long-haired one even though he... well, you know. >_<)
Great plot, great characters, great art, and packed with so much feeling it can knock you out. <3 What more could you want?

The story is very good! The beginning might be missguiding you though, considering there isn't as much supernatural stuff later in the series as in the beginning. It becomes more a psychological drama. But hey, that what it is supposed to be!

Wow...this was totally different from what I usually read
but so interesting, I thought I wasn't going to like this at all
cuz, it's not the type of manga i usually read, but the details,
the Psychology that's involved in all this, was awesome
I recommended it for sure

I began reading scanlated mangas with Death Note but it had its shortcomings. When I read Eternal Sabbath, however, I found my standard +10 manga. I tend to rate other mangas I've read against Eternal Sabbath. I haven't found a manga who can unseat it from its rating. It's that good.
The characterization is well-done and is further enhanced by skilled artwork. The backdrops are clean and clear. The plot is well-paced and the resolution was satisfying. I like this manga because it's not long-winded. It's very contained and the story-telling is credible. Dialogues are intelligent and somewhat witty. I found myself laughing out loud even at the midst of the story's growing tension. The theme is philosophical and leaves you with a whole lot of questions about life and the meaning of existence.
Eternal Sabbath is worth setting up as a standard 10!
