I love gender benders, it's got everything 
This is more like the movie SHE'S THE MAN.. i like it!!
I decided to read this despite what most comments said. And I have to say I was throughly impressed. There's some humor here and there and plenty of cute romance. She doesn't change her personality to fit in with the boys, and that's one thing I like about her. But what's annoying about her is that she's ditzy, naive, and pushy at times. Also some notice that she's actually a girl pretty fast which I also like because truly how long can a girl last in an all boys academy without being noticed?
I recommend it. But at points the story is great, then goes downhill, then brings itself up again with a twist.

I read Hana Kimi, same deal. Except it is more realistic and the delusional "you-saw-me-naked,-but-I-still-think-that-you-think-that-I'm-a-boy" attitude is fortunately left out... unlike *cough* (Hana Kimi) which reeks with it, where the high school apparently has an IQ-average of 80.
* BTW I actually LIKE Hana Kimi... but I'm being a critic here :3

Not my stuff. The story's too fast, there's no focus on the relationships, and it's like I'm just skimming over it rather than reading it. Everything just goes into place and there's no impact at all.

I love most of Shimaki Ako stuff and this was no exception. It is not her best work but still rather entertaining. The main female character can be overly naive in some parts of the story. I look forward to reading the remaining manga.
but I kinda like the female character in it, although overall naïve (as usual) she is a bit pushy, doesn’t exactly wait for the guy to make first move and is aware of her insecure moments. Shimaki’s art is very nice and fleshy.
not my cup of tea.. this is more of an overly melodramatic shoujo manga that focuses on their stereotype love story than the gender bender aspect..
