A hell lot smexier than the cover. (Not that Kunimasa's ain't sexy) . I finally read it after a group of friends were screaming about animals... and Mpreg. *gurgles* .

Definitely something worth buying.

OMG, the funniest since We Are Gorgeous! I haven't laughed this hard for a long time now and this was induced by reading yaoi?! Then again, Kotobuki Tarako does have the humor that compliments my comedic sense so that is always a plus in my book. So far, this the second yaoi title that I know of (besides Animal-X) that incorporates M-preg in its storyline. It's almost like a taboo, even harder to find than incest-themed or BDSM-inspired yaoi manga books that are abound everywhere. Which makes this interesting to read, if only for the curiosity of wanting to see how a guy get pregnant and going about his business. There are tonnes of furry cat ears shota boys in the yaoi/shounen-ai realm than there are men who carry babies in artificial wombs. I find that freaking hard to believe but it's true. So, just for the weird factor that mpreg can induce, read it and laugh it up. The sex is good, the art is ok, the funny is sky-high though the plot regrettably forgettable. It's better than any drugs you can get your hands on!

The arts horrible, the update schedule slower than molasses, and the plot so utterly ridiculous that its bordering on stupid as hell. I have no idea why I love this manga so much. I avoided it for so long, and out of complete boredom I read it and got sucked in. Do yourselves a favor and go read something that makes sense, is pretty, will actually be finished this century, and brings out normal emotions.

in this first story (some spoilers) one guy is trying to mate another guy to have his child (even though he already has a girl friend.) im not suer why these two started dating or why they even like eachothers. is it just me or are all the girls in this manga really ugly looking? not what i was expecting. another coupleits pretty much the same things two guys start flirting and the while one of them is tormented by their relationship the other guy is sleeping with some chick that looks like a dog (literally). i dont get why people like these series.

At first, i didnt understand the plot, but well, i was kinda drawn by it...and well, let say this series is addictive XD.
I got a better understanding of the plot later on, and can stop downloading. Btw, i love Teruhiko (did i spell that rite O_o) and Joshua xD cute~
This is like, a must see, it'd be a waste of a life time if not. This manga series is the first work i have read of this author, and i think i must read more than rite now... xD

What a misleading title!

First thing that came to my mind months ago when reading this title was that it has the same name as the famous 1970's rock band. I then took one look at the cover art and dismissed this as a story that was obviously full of sex and had bad art to boot. Recently though, when I decided to pick this up and read it out of pure boredom, boy, was I pleasantly suprised to find out that I was so wrong about this!

Firstly, this manga is so much fun! Simply put, in the universe that Kotobuki Tarako created, almost anything is possible. For instance, rather than humans being the decendents of apes, they are decended from animals and therefore have the soul of one. It is even possible for same-sex couples to marry and even to have a baby if they choose!

As bizare as this sounds in a manga, it really works in so many ways. When I started this I thought it would be pure comedy or even a parody of other yaoi manga, but it's not like that at all. Sex Pistols has both funny moments and even sad ones which are touching. The plot mainly revolves a few select couples, but it drifts into other stories revolving around other couples as well. They are all interconnected in some way, which is good in many ways, although I often get confused trying to figure out who is related to who. For that matter, I got a headspin trying to figure out who was the parent of who!

As for the art, it takes a while to get used to, but does eventually grow on you. Also, If you can keep an open mind, it's actually a very enjoyable read. The premise of this story may sound strange - even the title emphasizes this weirdness (which by the way, is totally misleading, as there is very little sex) - but it's actually very good and has a lot going for it despite first appearances. Definately worth a read if you are looking for something different from the usual yaoi!

Yaoi fans may be a bit skittish to approach this title. It seems a bit too extreme to some- in all honesty, I was timid to pick this book up. In reading this, the art isn't what's important by the time you finish the first book. The characters grab you and you can't seem to put the novel down until you've read up to the latest volume you can buy. The stories are charming and it has it's tid-bits of humor here and there. The art is not all that impressive but the book will leave you thirsting for more.
