well, i've read love hina, ichigo 100%, i"s, suzuka and a lot more romantic comedy type shounen...so i could say that this is not the best but i still love it.

its a typical ecchi romantic comedy, an ordinary wimpy guy who just happen to attract the cutests of all the girls. personally its dragging, and i don't know if i could surely say that Yuu really likes Mugi..i think possessive is more like it, but that doesn't mean like or love in my book. it's more of like Mugi is doing all the good things for her and not vice versa. and i could symphatize for all those cute girls who liked him, confesses then got rejected..

well i dont like Mugi's indecisiveness either, got no balls at all. but i guess that's the main point of the story, coz if he confesses, then its downhill after that..so the mangaka is just dragging it out, huh?

well i ranted, but as a whole i am a sucker for romance so i read it non-stop, and i love it..just not 100%, like ichigo, hehe..or even suzuka..

Its like chapter after chapter of the same thing. Nothing surprising happens in it at all. I read it for like 4 volumes then I just started skimming through because it was like reading the same ole thing over and over. It to freakin predictable whats going to happen as well. If you seen any anime or read any manga where "totally wimpy dude gets like girl, totally wimpy dude has misunderstanding with girl, girl and dude make up then repeat with no getting to the point in site" then you have read this manga. Its pretty much that over and over and over and over and over and over. Though judging by all of the 10 ratings I see, there are people that like that type of plot.

To put it bluntly, if your looking for something original and/or creative, fast or even moderately paced, unpredictable, "ANYTHING" packed (well I guess you could say this is packed with mushiness but that's about it", aww inspiring, or even just creative then you should just look somewhere else..

good if you just want to oogle breasts; but there are breast-oogling series out there that are much better content-wise

Pastel was good when it began. However, due to the slow releases and lack of drama, I'm getting really bored. Maybe others will enjoy the atmosphere of Pastel, and how lighthearted it is, and the insightful moments, but it is really dragging on, and it is weak. This series is more suitable to read right before going to bed.

takes time to get used to the pace. i sometimes forget this wasnt just a romantic manga. but it's worth time given you waited volumes before reading it.

its quite good .... though the story kinda doesn't seem to be developing anymore then the usual repetitve daily life with a few problems here and there, but i have only read up to v11 soo ill keep reading i just don't wanna stop....so i guess you just gotta give it a chance and see where it leads

I have to agree with chickenwing on this one. It's suppose to be a comedy romance right? But nothing happens. Seriously.
I've read up to vol7, and you'd expect that some development between the two main characters should've happened, but no luck...
Is the mangaka dragging the story so he could make a 40 vol serie? It feels like that sometimes...
I'll keep reading, but if nothing happens the rating is going down. Way down.
Too bad, because this manga have potential.

its too long. sure, parallel was on the short side, but it ended before it started to trail off. parallel was an awesome read, loved the ending, but pastel on the other hand, is pretty dragged out.

I couldn't stop thinking about this manga when I was reading it. Im giving it a 10 because it's rating is a little too low. Yeah it is being dragged out and yeah i wish he confessed volumes ago so the manga could be more about their dating relationship but oh well!!

Repetitive and stale. Only compromise is the rather simple but enjoyable drawing style. Cannot say the same about the plot though.
