To start I do think this is a well-written shoujo. It has its cliches and trite plot points but it's written decently and transitions well in each chapter. The thing I really dislike about the series is the terrible, unlikable characters (keep in mind this is my opinion and comments on it) I just think the characterizations for all of them are terrible and they don't operate beyond their "set character mode." This makes them seem unreal and just forced and even the most genuine characters seem to be really shallow. I dislike the supporting characters a little less than I do the two main leads who are just insufferable and actually perfect for each other.
For two leads they are the worst, indecisive pair ever.

This whole Team Jacob vs Team Edward atmosphere for the two main lotharios in Futaba chan's heart has really got me charged up! Like I want the resolution already but I also want more doki doki and kyaa moments!!! I'm so torn! And the worst part is... you just know the anime is gonna end in another episode and leave us hanging till the next season (if at all) rolls around!

I like the story so far, yes here and there are some clishe scenes - but I think it is unavoidable for shojo genre- what I actually like about this manga is that there is not an evil character really..
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
even rivals in love aren't like that, after a while I couldn't know who cheer for. Touma vs Kou, it's hard to choose.... I agree to one of the previous comments about Kou been an sexist for accusing Futaba gives a vibe "come and rape me" just because she talk to some guy though. Anyway I guess Autor just want to create a hot scene so I ama ready to forgive that :D

I only started reading this (still at Chapter 3 and still have the file open to continue reading after writing this comment xD) but while reading the first few chapters I couldn't help but think "IT'S REALLY CUTE!! <3" I really like the way the mangaka portrayed the main character. Definitely recommending this series. An adorable shoujo manga
UPDATE: Just finished reading up to chapter 13 (current latest chapter). I'm gonna say it again... This manga is REALLY CUTE!!! I like it~ I guess it's partly because I can relate with both the main characters. I'm sorry but saying more would be a spoiler. If you like shoujo I think you'll like this, so what are you waiting for? Go! Lol

I'm a fan. It was a very cute manga full of very likable characters and each of them were fleshed out people not just random side characters that have no dimension and exist soley to pop in for wacky shenanigans. The art is very good, the lead female is compelling and the lead males background story made me cry. The story is heavy on the love triangles (though through out the whole thing its still pretty obvious who she will end up with in the end so no real fear or confusion there) but if you're someone whos not about love triangles in the slightest or drama then you might not find this as enjoyable as I did (though I also am not the biggest fan of love triangles and still loved it) like another reviewer mentioned I would agree its very shoujo-ish but I personally love it. Really what holds me back from giving it a 10 is the ending. It was a good and cute ending but I would have appreciated more closure. Like a fast forward to them in 10 years type thing. If you're looking for a nice shoujo to read overall i say go for this one.

I'm not a huge fan of shoujo, but I do read them once in a while to change my manga routine. That's why I'm probably more tolerant towards shoujo tropes, since I don't read them all the time. And this kept me reading it without feeling frustrated at all, but otherwise there's a good chance I would've dropped the manga.
The first part is your typical shoujo story of a heroine pining after the mysterious kind-of-a-jerk-but-nice male lead. It's not groundbreaking, but the characters are likeable enough, so it's all good. The first reveals were handled really well, felt real and actually managed to make me sympathize for both the main characters. Then, to stir more drama, the second part happens:
It's still readable, though, just really unnecessary.
Overall, the manga is a good read for someone who likes the genre, even if it gets dragged down a bit by its middle part.

Random guy and random girl show up out of nowhere, and a series of incredibly contrived events, combined with an egregious example of Idiot Ball, lead to a long flow of chapters that everybody alread knows won't bring anything new to the plate. The female rival is kind of a sly bastard, but really it's more on the two main's idiocy. The male rival...I'm all for kind male love interests, but this guy is so bland, he's got "plot point" written all over his face. At some point I even hoped he would turn out to be a jerkass, just to give him something. But no, he's just there, so generic that you can't even feel bad for him. In the end all this arc does is making the two MCs less likeable.
It's still readable, though, just really unnecessary.

I liked this manga it was very cute and had good start so I gave it 9/10 (Add more points because the art Amazing) ... but it went downhill I hated every single character in this manga till the end I couldn't like it again it was a horrible experience for me I just wish I didn't read it until it's complete (I was follwoing it ever since the announcement for the manga) maybe I wouldn't hate it this much

I loved the story and the characters. But somehow it truned quite meh towards the end. I think the love triangle made it cold for me. Besides two characters I wanted to end up together didn't, so that truned me off too. But overall is a good manga.

It started off great, then at chapter 6 I started to get a little bored, but the manga didn't let me escape because it pulled me back in !!I was so disjointed when[SPOILER] when what's her name said that she liked the guy [SPOILER/] but the mangaka wasn't cheap and typical and for once she made that a pleasant thing.
I really like this, its so refreshing and incwedibly sweeet !
Seriously give it a try, I can't wait for more chapters to be released !!

Ahh my gosh. I can't believe I haven't made a comment on this manga yet!!
It's definitely one of my favorite shoujo manga right now! I'm keeping up with it very attentively.
Their love story started when in junior high. It was both their first love. However, it was never resolved because the main guy Kou was transferred to another school for family reasons. They did not meet each other again until high school. It's a story about rekindled love.
I'm SUCH a sucker for first love stories. Reading this makes my heart race every time. *kyaaa*
There's no doubt that they have good chemistry. They have a very strong bond, developed from when they were younger and somehow strengthened from each other's absence and the memory/though of what-could-have-been over the years. They both remembered the feelings they had for each other years ago that were never properly articulated.
Both Futaba (main girl) and Kou (main guy) are well-developed. I won't say they have deep characters, but the background stories for both are good at explaining how they become what they are now presently.
The art is very good. Cute, without being overly adorable. Clean, with this wispy strokes here and there (mainly for the hair). I quite like it.
I would strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a good shoujo with likable characters.

I was actually hoping that it will be a love triangle between Futaba, Kou, and that other guy she accidentally touched on the crotch. but alas, Futaba and Kou's relationship doesn't seem to be easily shaken...edited: yep some competition. Drama drama drama! Hehehe I love it
