I wish I could give this manga a negative rating. The girl is so self righteous and kept forcing her belief on others. I've read a lot of manga and this girl take the top spot for the MOST annoying ignorant b*tch. I swear if I meet such person in real life I would slap her face HARD. One character enough to make me (a manga addict) to drop a series. I can't like her, I won't like her and I can't even ignore her. I've never wish for a manga character to die so bad.

It was okay when I was reading it out of boredom and i got quite interested in it, but it need to be read in chunks not by release I found. And I find the characters really annoying so I think I might actually drop it.

If you are a fan of good stories, battles, character development, decent comedy, and good art work, then you can fine this manga anywhere. Its a decent manga, but its like the story with different characters and plot. I mean, cliché after cliché. After you've read as much manga as me and read alot of great and horrible stories, you get bored quick when you read an average(similar) story for too many times. Some you can keep going on reading for a while, even finish the story, but then there are manga like this that you just get tired and bored of and lose interest. Its been awhile since i last read a Code: Breaker chapter though, so maybe the story picked up a bit and got more interesting. But everything from the story to the characters to the artwork[although better then most] was average to the point as knowing the sky is blue and grass is green. 4/10 might be a bit low since its a good read if you havent read much manga but this is my rating

hey this manga is not that bad ! I think to enjoy it really, you have to take it lightly and not seriously! I mean if you think about all of this : it is hilarous! Nyanmaru : OMFG who would dare to put something so ridiculous in a story like this... but this is what makes it hilarous! and actually Sakura is hilarous! ahaha she always tried to prevent Ogami from killing even if the guys are terrorist or what ever ! but this is hilarous !!! yeah she does it over and over again but I think it adds some fun to the story XDDD
The characters and how the mangaka makes us wait before revealing some terrible truth (ahaha) reminds me so much of samourai deeper Kyo which I enjoyed reading
It is the same style and ingredients but aww this is not so bad since it has been a long time I haven't read samourai deeper Kyo ^^
But this time the hero (Ogami) is a bit more expressiv than Kyo ! lol

This is damn good! Surely one of the best manga i've read in the past month! The hero is great, a damn bastard with a dark, sad past, and even the heroine isn't the classical stupid brat...
I hope the mangaka will continue like this!

The manga is splended. Not ussual tipe of hero who is not conserned about overs. Does anyone here saw Leon - don't you think manga remined it a little? I mean the emotions of it

Just a topical shounen manga, same old story : a girl who is "accidentally" involved with the main male character (who has powers) after a few fights they discover that Tue girl has powers too and blah blah blah.
There's no plot, and I give 7/10 to the art.
No worth reading manga it is.

spicypolvoron is right. The only thing which links light and Rei is the desire to kill everybody who look like to be a trash. Beyond this, this is totaly another style, another manga

i seriously love this manga. I am looking forward to the storyline, the protagonist and the heroine's background, additional characters, other members of the codebreaker, villains etc. This is indeed has a potential to be a great shounen manga. Too bad there are only few chapters since it's only new, but i'll definitely follow this manga. oh, and the main character is so cool!

Its so stupid its cringe-worthy. It starts off with 2 characters that are somewhat interesting. A tough butt-kicking martial arts high school girl, and a boy who's stone cold killer. The girl quickly transforms into the comic relief. Really, the author shouldn't have bothered to give her martial arts skills then, its kinda wasted.

So, is it comedy or is it drama? Well, it could loosely be seen as a spoof on other heavy angst ridden super serious manga. Except, the main character is so serious and goes about killing people in such a horrible fashion that its hard to see it as parody. So that makes it a drama with slapstick thrown in. This could be ok, except as other reviewers have pointed out its kinda thrown in sometimes at odd points which doesn't work. Another way to look at it is if this was supposed to be black humor/black comedy, but then it fails there because its not really in line with slapstick. Its like the drama and humor cancel each other out.

The girl also seems to quickly become habituated to the violence and murder going on around her. She doesn't seem to be that horrified after a bit. So what is a smart, strong talented girl supposed to do with a killer on the loose? Mind you this is a killer (in a very serious scene) that attempted to kill her and threatened to kill innocent bystanders, her family and friends. Why, she starts to dispense hugs of course. The power of the hug is not to be underestimated (sarcasm intended). So she evolves from somewhat tough, to comedy relief damsel in distress, to vaguely annoying.

But wait there's more. Aside from the sometimes dumb dialogue there's plenty of contrived scenes. I wont bother with spoilers, its just enough to say that they often give our anti-hero an excuse or justification to kill someone. It wouldn't be so bad except its not subtle, nor is it surprising, its instead clumsy and ham-fisted.

One last thing. Some reviewers have said to give it to chapter 30 and another one said wait till chapter 55 then it gets really interesting. I have not read all the way up to that. You know why? If you have to wait that long for the manga to start getting good, then its a fail. Why waste your time reading 30-50 chapters, instead read something better.

This series does not deserve a 10.
