Well... I don't think I've come across a shounen like that. But as long as they aren't gay for each other or something and it more of a no romance type plot with mostly action and no intentions of having love interest period, then maybe. 8D

I've never come across something like that but I think the story would then focus on friendships or loyalty to get the soft feeling girls bring in maybe. As long as it's not just continuous fighting without any breaks for humor or something.

Yes, never again.. can't bare to not finish something, so I did, all 30 or so volumes of Change Guy.. what a waste of time. People lied when they said there was a plot..

i hate it when theres no like main girl through the story...i prefer to have at least a little romance where they end up together in the end like rave for example or even if its legit romance. i can deal with the no romance but without any girls it just doesnt feel right...

Well it depends to what degree the manga is lacking girls.
I mean I love HnI, Rookies, ES21, and Prince of Tennis, and they're sports mangas with mostly guys, very few girls (and HnI is 800+ chs, I think that qualifies as long).
I also love Crows, HxH, Kuroshitsuji, and Akumetsu, all of which are lacking in the girl department. It depends on the story really, in action mangas sometimes it's better if their is no damsel in distress.
Then again maybe I'm biased cuz I'm a yaoi fan.
