Im glad the Gaara fight is finally about to start. But the are drawing things out way too much in this manga. The fight should of started around chapter 526

Now this one could be one of the most epic fight of Naruto if it's not screwed up and end in 1 and a half chapter like all the other Edo tensei fight ...lets cross our finger and hope this will be a good fight

The plot of this series has gotten so scattered it almost saps your will to try and understand what's going on. The setup for this fight happened so long ago (20 chapters back, if icethegreat is correct!) that I thought Kishimoto had decided to scrap it.

I was also confused by the random panels of Kabuto--what were we meant to get out of that? Just that he's still around?

At least now we get to see Gaara fight, which is always cool. And if we're lucky, maybe some character development for him if he manages to settle things with his father.

Wow for some1 who comments quite frequently and follows this mangas every move you sure are dull. Kabuto sensed the disturbance caused by Naruto and he can also see thorugh the minds of who he controls by focusing in on them. This is shown when Zabuza wasnt willing to fight Kakashi.
Also when Sasori was confined. Kabuto notices the weaknesses of his jutsu and puts a better hold on them. Also the look of shock can be the amount of shock that Naruto was on the battlefield at all.

As for you not bieng able to follow the story. Id say its because u try and question it too much and wind up getting confused by your inability to multitask and keep track of what u are trying to predict vs how many plot holes u can think of altogether. bigrazz

Sigh. I meant plot-wise what were we meant to get out of Kabuto's appearance. That he sensed a "disturbance in the force" was obvious enough from his expression. So Kishimoto wasted panel space on Kabuto's dramatic hamster moment? Or was he doing something special when they showed him?

Reread my first sentence. I didn't say I can't follow the story, I said because the plot is all over the place, it lowers your motivation to continue trying to understand it.

i actually think it was a scene to show that kabuto realized that naruto is moving about, because im pretty sure Kabuto said he wanted to fight naruto, so maybe its kind of a foreshadowing type of thing, or i can just be thinking too hard into it. laugh

Ah, setting up a fight between Naruto & Kabuto. That's plausible--Kabuto doesn't have a clear opponent on the good guys' side, so why not Naruto? (If Kakashi hadn't already fought Zabuza, he might have been a good candidate because of what happened during the Chuunin exams.)

I was actually thinking that Kabuto was just really surprised by how strong Naruto is now...I don't really see Kabuto going out to fight anyone himself.

But, I guess if he did, then Naruto would be a good opponent (with the past that they have). Sakura would also be a good candidate for a fight: first he helps take Sasuke away, then tortures Naruto...seems like a good enough reason for a fight. Plus, they are both medical ninjas. Has a balance to it.

I sure hope that the gold isn't real because real gold isn't magnetic...seriously, man

I liked the chapter though

i think all metals might actually be magnetic or can become magnetic to some degree, i don't remember exactly but i think it has to do with electrons in their outer f shell effecting the shape and field of a metallic atom, not sure though no

anyways i don't think they mentioned anything about magnetic gold though, just that Gaara's father can control gold dust

i'm just wondering, if Naruto can sense the locations of enemies and their intent to kill, y doesn't he just take out Kabuto first? and like maybe resolve half the issues with the battle?
