Antagonist seems like it would be the most fun. A successful antagonist would be better. I would probably be a cunning, manipulative one that thought of life as a game. But i would be joking even til my dying breath and point out the stupid things the protagonist does. Id rather not die though.

someone kind of have to be the badguy to make it a great story
and i could just let my hate flow lol

lets hope its a shounen and that the protagonist thinks its gonna be ok after they just beat me

this is kinda tough
i'd prefer love interest i guess...because love interests are always glorified in manga and hey noone said i'd actually have to end up with the main character

Main character obviously. Unless it was something like tragedy where all my friends would die, in which case I would just rather be the narrator.

It makes me wonder what kind of stories you guys read sometimes. Protagonists don't have to be good guys... or even the traditional figure one normally finds as the main character.
In Wolfsmund, the side characters are the main focus, whether they are "good" or "evil".
God's Child is a right old bastard but the protagonist none-the-less.
Oyasumi Punpun's MC is more of a side character.
Same with Seigi no Mikata.
And the hikikomori in Watching TV All the Time Makes You Stupid is more of a side character, but she is the protagonist of the series.
It's all about perspective. You can be in any series with any ending. Well, it all depends on what part of your life is being "translated" into a series, 'cause all series are really gonna end the same. In a fluffly series, you could be the protag, but in a dark, depressing, gritty, noir series... you are the fodder (minor character) for the Protagonist/Antagonist.
Have fun thinking that last sentence over again.

Terrible things happen to Protagonists, their Best friends, their Love Interests and the Bad Guy. Supporting, Minor, and Narrator are much safer.

I'd want to be a minor character, I mean, have you ever seen a main character this isn't busy? How can I spend all day reading manga and watching TV if I'm being hunted down by demons, saving the world, being harassed by a harem of women, studying for tests, dumped in an alternate reality, and the world is ending.
seriously, screw you people, I just want to see The Avengers.

Protagonist, but only because it looks like something different happens everyday (most of the time. Lets forget about the tragedy and horror manga too XD). I think it'd be interesting. I lead a very boring, bog standard life, so yeah I think being a protagonist would be...well certainly busy XD
