Recently, I've been in the mood for manga that have an overall happy mood and is somewhat calming. Peaceful would probably be another word for it. No huge drama (3-way love triangles/traumatic pasts that affect the plot in a massive way, etc.).
Also, having soft-styled art would be nice.
Hibi Chouchou - one example of soft-styled art.
Mushishi - nice and relaxing.
Tonari no Seki-kun - hilarious, but overall no huge drama.

I'm not sure if I'm being clear at all, so hopefully with any suggestions I'll be able to figure out what exactly I'm looking for.
[I'm open to all genres except hentai/ecchi/hard yaoi/yuri]

Thanks! biggrin

Sugar Family
Love so life - that one is especially soothing, I really recommend it!
House of the sun - bit more on the drama side, but still quite soft-styled

these are some that come to mind, some have soft art, some have an overall soft atmosphere, all are feel good (except Solanin for some people maybe?). would list down some other works that share the same mangaka from some below but i'm lazy.

Solanin
Yoningurashi
Sukima Shiki
Ai no Shittakabutta
Haruyuki Bus
Wisteria-Colored Sky Apartment
Drops (ANDOU Yuki)
Kimi no Kachi
Gozen 3-ji no Muhouchitai
Yajirobee
Assari Chocolate

i just love slice-of-life type of mangas and i really recommend titles from Ando Yuki, Ikuemi Ryou, Nemu Youko, Yamakawa Aiji.

Anything by MITSUKI kako, I feel the stories aren't overly dramatic and the art is quite good

I'm surprised no one mentioned Aria and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. They're among the best slice of life I've read so far. Genshiken also kinda fits I guess.
