If there is a manga like this, I'm looking for something fantasy where, unlike shoujo, the girl saves the guy sometimes instead of always the other way around. Something similar to Immortal Rain or Shirogane no Karasu, though I don't particularly remember saving from that one.
Preferably shounen romance rather than shoujo, though a Seinen sort of thing would be fine, too as long as it's got romance with some action, some fantasy with superpowers additionally would be lovely as well, if there are any stories like this. XD
Edit: I love the expressions the guys have when they can't save the girl, like in [m]Densetsu Daisy[/m].

It doesn't really matter that it's a strong female lead all the time, just that the guy isn't always the only one jumping in front of the girl and getting hurt. I'm looking for a slightly more serious action romance, like I said, preferably something similar to Immortal Rain and Shirogane no Karasu. I do want the guy to be strong, but more human; like even though he tries to jump in front of her, he doesn't make it in time or something.
I like seeing the guys face when he isn't able to save her, to be precise. It gives me the shivers.
