but its soo true!
im probably just weird like this XP
but i tend to skip mangas/manhwas that have short haired girls in them!
i mean i only skip them when the lead character has hair reaching only to the neck...
NO OFFENSE TO THE SHORT HAIRED FEMALES OUT THERE THOUGH!
IM ONLY LIKE THIS TO MANGA CHARACTERS!
i do have a few exceptions though xp

Im the complete opposite! I like short hair both in manga and in real life... so if I find a manga with a short hair girl lead I read it.

i dont skip them, but somehow i also dislike (not "hate) short-haired female manga characters. I dont really mind since the plot is more important( for me)

Well thats because you have no taste. Maya fans know oh too well how much sexier she got when her hair shortened. I jest, about the taste part anyway.
I think certain hair lengths work for certain characters, though I do seem to go for the short haired.
To not pick it up because of it?  I think thats taking too for there. You'll be missing out on so much just because of something so small. I do think that characters are a main aspect of a story, and they need to be done well for it to stick out, but I worry much more about personality than looks, especially if it's hair.

I used to also dislike female characters that had short hair, don't really know why, but now I kinda like it. Not too short though, like shoulder length is really good, but if it's a boy cut then it's a no-no. My only exception to a female character with a boy cut hair is Haruhi from Ouran High

i think saying that i have no taste is going a little too far.
and frankly, i really never cared if i miss out on good plots because i cant really call it "good" if i dont like the female protagonist.

I don't really care short, long, bald(wait, bald would be too much  ) just as long as the character isn't a crybaby. The thing is, short haired female lead always associated with strong personality that ain't no pushover so a lot of my fav female seems to short haired(Haruna from Koukou Debut and Ito from W Juliet)

Well i never really care about hair in manga (in finding one to read) but however i usually lean towards girls with longer hair or a decent length hair a little lower then shoulders lol idk... But ya i would judge manga on things like that but you know specific hair styles just fit specific characters. But you know we all have a opinion on sex appeal and stuff so w/e.

guess it all boils down to taste.
personally i don't care about hair length as long as the character portrays what he/she is all about.
what i have a problem with is how the story is presented. If it sucks, all other aspects of the manga sucks, simply because i would just stop reading it.
