I read it the whole way through (it took me forever though lol) and I found it to be a little confusing at times, but all in all I liked it. It was very emotional and I cried A LOT. It was at times, as previous repliers have said, boring. If you can stick through that to the interesting parts-it's s great manga.

Seriously, I cannot find a single issue with this manga. Sweet, heart-filled and heartbreaking, this one is a classic for a reason.

As they played the game...I waited for someone to call "onigiri." But no one called. I was very little then. I had almost forgotten about that. [...] But they knew...there would never be room for an a fruits basket.

I wouldn't call it incredible, but as one of the first shoujo I read/saw, it holds a special place for me. I loved the story and characters and thought it was really creative. It might not be my favorite now, but it seems more like a comfortable classic.

"Everything is okay in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end."

"I'm tired of all the nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That's deep enough. What else do you want; an adorable pancreas?" - Jean Kerr

When I said 'death' before 'dishonor', I meant alphabetically.

Imagine what would happen if there were no more hypothetical situations.

I reread it again the other day, and I still think it's one of the top shoujo out there, considering the current shoujo manga market right now anyway.
