All different types of organs.

The lamb brains were the weirdest to eat. That was difficult to swallow because they really really looked like brains on my plate. They were tasty in the end though laugh

I wouldn't eat it either.

Not weird, but I always remind my mother the degree of my father's devotional fear for her with it.

Small bageles baked with meat.
It was weird and disgusting.

My father said it was good.
But then, he always does.

Oh, and when I was in kindergarder in Belarus, we were served some dish which smell reminded me of wet underwear.

Absolutely this

you may think it isn't all that bad, if you ever had it you might even say it is tasty.
However, if you knew what kind of "meat", and I use the term very loosly, went into making things like this, you won't.
Imagine a slaughterhouse, animals get slaughtered for meat (steaks, pork chops, etc.) which get sold to stores and such.
Now obviously you have some remains, eyeballs, bits of meat stuck to the bones, remaining organs, in some cases even skin, pretty much anything that can't be sold directly. It all gets ground up, mixed with some spices and other crap, and you get that.
bon appetite.

So... how is this any different from any other hot dog?

It's not really different from a hot dog, but think of it this way, it's really quite a bargain for what you're getting. If you've ever been to Asian stores, eyeballs, organs, and skin can be pretty pricey.

This reminds me, once I had pork brains, they weren't so bad. But then my grandfather started going off about the olden days when vegetables were too expensive and they had to pick dandelions to eat. And we ended up with pork brains with dandelions leaves, and that was just horrible.

It may sound disgusting but I've had rooster testicles before and it didn't taste weird or anything. I remember it tasting like egg yolk. My mom tricked me by saying it was the egg of a rooster and I believed her thinking it was like any other egg... I was 5 at the time dead

I've eaten deep fried scorpion and bee. Scorpion tasted like a shrimp skin...empty. Bee was like fried pork rinds.

I have never tried it but I heard that quite a few people in NZ have tried huhu grubs. According to some source I heard, they taste like peanut butter or chicken. =P

...pig brains!!!!
My dad says that if you eat animal brains, you become like them. (!!!) When it was served, I was like: eek and dead
The brains had looked raw!!! (= =) But I ate the brains either way because food is not to be wasted. I ended up sort of liking them. But there are side effects... (like vomiting and feeling somehow very piggish)
