stop reading manga. Seriously you are excommunicate.

personally its series length mostly for me. things going on long after they should end, hitting various roadblocks that aren't very decent.

you get 13 episode series with about 6 or 7 episodes of material and the rest is pretty weak. happens often enough. Manga is different, but it tends to hit a stride and then start doing fluff, instead of ending. if its good enough at fluff it will continue doing that forever, and if it isn't it will get cancelled and have an ending thats too short to do anything satisfying.

in short the system don't work.

There are plenty of manga without those. Makes no sense stopping.

Character personality for me, like the that character from ryuuroden the hero's friend/ classmate 10 ch in. and extreme twisted stuff like franken fran.

-poorly developed characters
-lack of a real plot
--repetition of situations (e.g. bad guy gets away over 9000 times)
--poor balancing of plot
--random power-ups
-pointless ecchi (Well, sales do matter, but that can be obtained by making a good manga.)
-cliché or shallow romance(s)
-loose ends (i.e. plot holes), confusing and poorly thought-out time skips

When the story, according to my tastes, is stupid or useless.

-too far in the past(20 years prior to its initial creation is usually where i draw the line, becuase most ffail at using ancient gramar and have no idea of when what was invented when and where, also political structure[I know and admit to being a history nazi though, i have the same problem with people confusing cultures and languages such as greek and roman, or chinese and japanese, sorry bout the rant])
-too sweet of romance(this is only when they take it way past the normal bounds[ usually not a problem to often but some genres are horrible for it])
-and certian art styles mostly the josie style though, i cant stand it i find it to glossy or something almost like it was coloured with pastel, and just the general features like shapes of body parts and eyes, ect.(truthfully that genre as a whole is almost a turn off to me, and dont tell me not to be predujice becuase ive read almost every genre once, and ive tried many different in this genre and found none that i like])

Those two are my main issues, as well as idiotic courting rituals (apparently stalking and sexual harassment are very romantic, they show the man's feelings. *eyeroll*).

I don't really mind boobs everywhere, but they seriously need to look at a real woman before drawing one. Honestly, aside from porn stars who get fat sucked from their stomach to be put into their chest, where do you see these women?

Example: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/xeropanzer/kirkika.jpg

And no, making them bigger doesn't make it hotter, it just makes it disproportionate and thus unattractive. Big chest on a big girl = more anatomically correct and thus more attractive, in my opinion.

And the hair... where were they thinking giving some of these characters such idiotic hairstyles? No one naturally has tri-color hair and no one naturally has gravity defying hair, so what is the deal? I can accept that they wish for characters to be easy to tell apart (like how they gave female Ranma red hair so she would stand apart from male Ranma) but they start to get ridiculous when they create some of these characters and all it does is annoy some of the readers.

In Manwhas I dislike; That same Korean drawing style like HAN Yu-Rang which (is a pseudonym created by Kkotnim to publish massive amounts of manwha under one name.)

~I don't know why, but this style just turns me "off" just from looking at it...

-Dislike;

----Too much ecchi (unless it's necessary...ex: Female fighter is cornered after school, so of course skirts will fly.)

----Fast/Dumb Romance~ *Love at first sight* Oh my god I love you...~Oh my god I love you, too.

-Could name A LOT more, but I like to make those known.

Those manga with big sparkly, eyes notoriously found in shoujo, and are often exacerbated by eye raping sparkles and glitter.

Gratuitous fanservice with little plot relevance or exaggerated body proportions like this.

Most tsunderes - especially the loli ones played by teh rie.

This is probably heavily influenced by the fact that I'm a feminist, but depending on the female lead, they can really make or break a series for me. The "pure, naive, and useless in every situation but tries to help anyway, who all the men fall in love" make me vomit. Can't stand it, it drives me crazy. I'm not saying I need some ball busting, kick ass fighter girl. I just need some inner or outer strength and seems real to me.

Girls confessing to guys (or vice versa) the don't even know (I know its a Japanese thing but I know tons of Japanese who do it the old fashion way, you flirt - you get to know - you ask out on date etc.)

And depending, how a relationship is portrayed. Now, I do get that depending on the age group its directed at their is defs going to be some major fluffing. But some are just so unrealistic to me and just so wrong and unhealthy I just have to stop.

And Pink hair. I don't know why, I like the colour pink, its a fine color but on a person. No. I can handle all the colours of the rainbow but not pink.

Besides cliches and useless/weak leads, I really, really hate it when there is an overuse of chibi. It pisses me off because the artist and/or artist is trying to be funny but doesn't want to put effort into it.
The other thing is when the girl in a love triangle goes for that guy who doesn't care about her or abuses her rather than the guy that really loves her.

But the chibi and cliche things turns me off the most. I really hate it when artists and authors bs their manga because they're insulting their readers by chucking around low quality at them. no

fluffiness

bishounens/chibi/moe everywhere

harem/reverse harem, ecchi, genderbender, smut, yaoi, yuri, shotacon, lolicon

if its a romance manga, i really HATE innocent characters...i mean when i read a manga about 16+ year old characters i expect them to act their age...i hate it when both the boy and the girl have the same mentality as a kindergarten student. this means it shouldnt take them 1000 years to hold hands and then another 1000 years to kiss...a relationship should involve skinship i dont find it realistic when the relationship is platonic/when there is very little skinship involved. im sorry but thats just the way i see it.

annoying protagonist
useless characters that doesn't need to be there
romance being the main genre that has multiple main characters
a manga that is supposed to have a plot but doesn't have one

My Reasons:

Yaoi
Too much ecchi
Too unusual/weird
Too realistic
