Much agreed upon... I read the first volume and was puzzled: Why do people go crazy upon something like THIS!? Haruhi is so self-centred mad

- Miki from Marmalade Boy
- Maria from Minto na Bokura
That's about it.
Maybe it's the author but I really don't like these two characters. mad

Yay!! I can't believe I found someone else who would very much like to kill the little indecesive idiot!! (i'm talking about Miki, havent read Minto Na Bokura yet).

So, others I'd definitely kill:

- Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion (sorry to all of you fans out there)
- Hachiko from NANA (i LOVE Nana, I do! But sometimes Hachi just gets on my nerves!!!!!!!!)
- Misa Misa from Death Note (but then, it's not her fault. Everyone is bound to look stupid with L and Light around!)
- Shimizu from La Corda D'Oro (talk about useless here! What is the point of this guy??)
- Ritsuka Aoyagi from Loveless (indecisive, spoiled, whiny..)
- Himemiya Anthy from Revolutionary Girl Utena (Gosh, I REALLY hate HER!!)

And, basically, any other (i can't think of any more) girlie girl of usual shoujo manga (like Honda Tohru... now, I wouldn't exactly kill her because, for some reason, she grew on me, and the manga was totally great, but her type is the type I really can't stand!).

Why can't girl leads be more like Tsukasa from Tokyo Crazy Paradise or Tsukushi from Hana Yori Dango?

Oh, yeah, and I'm also a psychopath who loves totally warped, mean characters like Han Seo from Hot Blooded Woman, Queen Nakia from Anatolia Story, Nakago from Fushigi Yuugi, Sesshomaru and Naraku from InuYasha, and Nanjo from Zetsuai 1989.

Here goes, in no order...

Midori (Uwasa no Midori-kun) - She's so damn annoying, such an attention seeker seriously...she has two guys and acts innocent to each one >> and she doesn't look like a bloody guy (cuz it's gender-bender)

Hiyoko (Love Monster) - Just hate her, typically shoujo, gets on my nerves soo much.

Nagisa (Clannad) - No idea, I used to like her, but shes getting annoying even though she has an illness, I just don't think she suits well with Tomoyo =/

Sakura AND Karin AND Sasuke (Naruto+Shippuden) - They are so damn annoying, I could just kill them all.

Valkyrie (UFO Ultra Maiden Valkryie) - Couple gone wrong, I prefered his childhood friend for him.

Kaname (Vampire Knight) - Always hated this dude, he seriously needs to die...literally.

Rito (To-LOVE-Ru) - Why can't he make his freakin' mind up already? Why do so many god damn girls like him? Lala FTW!

Shingo (Girls Saurus and DX) - Same with Rito, makes me so vexed, the storys gone on for a long time, why can't he realize his feelings for Haruka goddammit!! There's only like 2 volumes left, the ending is so gonna be rushed dudes. ¬¬

1. The depressed/hateful Sasuke. He's pretty much worthless for anything other than adding unneeded angst to the story.
2. The Naruto who has some sort of obsession with Sasuke. Rename the manga already.
3. Orihime. I used to love you so much, but now you're just a damsel in distress.
4. Ougi Ichirou, oh, wait, he's already dead.

All time most hated character ever. I cannot stand this guy. I have anything and everything about him, and have stopped reading the manga simply because of him.

J. from 100% Perfect Girl

What an unbelievably selfish prick.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
like seriously why would you invite yourself along and follow a murderer who you know is going to go murder bad guys, then get mad and ask him not to kill people in front of you.....like shit, no one asked you to come to begin with, fuck outta here

I'm not particularly fond of her, but you know there is a perfectly logical explanation for that: she doesn't want him to kill people. It's just as much opposing your beliefs on others as killing a person you feel is evil...

i understand what she wants and it's ridiculous, childish even.......why should he stop doing his job just because you don't like it ?? ...the world doesn't revolve around you, in fact his work has nothing to do with you...

ya know, it's like who does she think she is..... that's like telling a police officer not to kill bad guys on duty, feel me?..... this here is a simple case of "woman, mind your own damn business"

That's perfectly fine (and I understand why it would annoy you), but you should understand that it goes both ways. The police metaphor is flawed because the policeman isn't an assassin targeting people who are technically civilians, the situation here is much more in the moral gray, and because of that the male protagonist (I'm sorry, his name escapes me at the moment) isn't necessarily exempt. Killing a person that you personally view as evil is virtually the same thing as "stopping someone from doing his job because you don't like it." It also acts like he believes he has the authority to decide the way the world should be run, etc. etc.

And to be clear, I'm not criticizing either position. That's entirely subjective and every person is perfectly capable of deciding whether or not something is morally correct. I just think it should be understood that these statements can be applied to both positions- your natural bias is blinding you a bit here (not that there's anything wrong with that).

i meaann.... it's not a BAD manga....it's pretty good, the main character (the guy) he's pretty dope, specially for a shounen main lead.......but it's just that girl, f'in it all up for me

but back to our debate....

actually the police metaphor works perfectly.... i dont know how far you are on the manga or whatever but i assume you know that what he is doing isn't based off some personal vendetta like Light Yagami or some shit like that (Death Note)......and since he works for the government, and he's only killing people who are targeted by his bureau in the name of the law.....it has little to no difference from a police officer killing a criminal on duty, it's not like he's some assassin from some dark organization or something, everything he does is considered legal because he has the proper authorization

Yeah, I'm up to date with it. I would also say that I think it's pretty terrible, from a general standpoint (but I'm really harsh about everything).

And this is a lot shadier than police work- government authorization has nothing to do with it. Even in Light's case you could argue that he has the "proper authorization" since he only killed people that were convicted criminals beyond a doubt, this is still killing people that both he and whatever sector of the government find to be "evil"- he agrees with it and is following it. The reason the police officer is allowed to kill on duty is because of self-defense, this is government-authorized assassination intended to end with killing from the start, which is different even from capital punishment.

But all that is irrelevant anyway because I wasn't talking about "legality" in the first place. My point was that it's technically questionable from a moral standpoint. Regardless of whether or not you or I agree with it, he's as much asserting his will onto "evil" as she is asserting her will into interfering with his job.
And besides, it should be obvious
Spoiler (highlight to view)
that the reason he's doing all of this is for some petty vengeance involving his parents anyway  . That's been implied pretty clearly, and given the demographic and genres, should be predictable.

Again, don't care whether he's right or wrong. Just saying that both sides should have an equal right to assert their will and ideals, even if the way she goes about it is far more annoying from a viewer's perspective.

i understand that.....but why i'm saying, is that you're not talking about what i've been talking about from the very begining.....i wasn't talking about her being morally right or him being immoral, why i added her to my list of characters who should die had nothing to do with emotions or beliefs, nor justice or injustice....it was about her stopping him from doing his job.....that's what i was talking about

but you're saying "she has the right to assert her own ideals", which is different from the reason i listed her to begin with, asserting ones ideals is one thing but interfering with someones job is different...which is the reason why i said i dont like her, so that's all irrelevant to what i was saying then isn't it? since i never said she was right to have those feelings, or right to disagree with him.....all i said about that was her nagging is annoying

but annoyance isn't why i want her dead, it was here interference, which is why i made the whole police officer simile.....

but back to what i was saying, that's why people are allowed to protest against companys for whatever reasons they have, but they cant just waltz in start interfering, am i right? and that's what she was doing

but yeah....thats the point i was making

but back on topic here's another one... that principle guy with glasses from Unbalance×2.....i dont remmember why, but i really hate that guy
