I was so sad that it ended, I really loved the series.

I really enjoyed the whole ending and instead of being sad, I was just laughing too much about the speech-letter and the "grown-up" part to think something like "aw, this is the end of the series" or "it's the end (cries)"! laugh

But anyway, the whole series always made me smile every time because of the characters' personalities and their actions. I agree that the ending didn't seem rushed and everything was organized. eyes

I have one question though...there's a oneshot sequel? (I went straight to this forum after reading the last chapter so I was oblivious to everything else.) laugh

Well, this was such a refreshing series I have read ^_^
Yah, no one voted that they didn't like the ending so far!

I like the way it ended. It made me think yes this is so like Haruna! Even though I knew it was coming I was happy. I was upset it ended though. I think I laughed like every chapter! I love Yoh and Haruna's relationship and i'm really going to miss it. I'm also going to miss Asami and Asaoka. The teasing friends. Aww I'm said again. I think I'm going to like wait week or so and read it all in one go!! bigrazz

i liked it, it wasn't too corny, and it ended with Haruna being Haruna (an idiot)....it all worked for me, overall great manga, best shoujo i've ever read...well 2nd i guess if you count Nana, but still great manga

Just finished it. It wasnt earth-shattering in its story, but reasonable. The heroine was only moderately annoying in her naivety. Comparable to Hanazono Hikari of Special A.

I liked the end going full circle on the storyline. I could visualize Yoh, after having not seen each other for a year, facepalming at how Haruna regressed to old habits when all he was looking forward to was seeing his girlfriend after so long. I am looking forward to the sequel one-shot to see what else might be tied up.

I'm rather curious if the mangaka will do a side-story series on Mami and Asaoka, possibly during the year that Haruna and Yoh are apart. Asaoka was wondering if Haruna might see him for who he truly is like she does with Yoh, but we never really see if he realizes that Mami already does (even though it's made blatantly obvious). There was also that whole scene where Mami says she'll give love a shot, but that never went anywhere afterward.

(If you guys think I need to put spoilers on that, let me know. I figure if you're reading a thread about the manga's end, you should have read it all and already know everything I just mentioned.)

I didn't like the end... i was like... "What? That's it?" So... I hope that the 1shot sequel ("Enkoi Debut") that will be released this month brings something more to their lives!

And besides whe never had a development about Asaoka and Takahashi!

Kind of a bland way to end the series, but at least the "some time later" cliche epilouge got turned to a joke rather than sap.

Damn straight!

It's all that talk "we'll do it before you go to tokyo!" and that whole pool chapter (I HATE YOU ASAMI, SO MUCH), and STILL nothing?

WTF.

I wouldn't have minded so much if they didn't even BRING up the topic.

Could have been better, but I wasn't expecting much.
I suppose I'm satisfied with the end since I wasn't expecting much.
It was cute. It made me happy.
