By the way, this topic title is pretty retarded. It automatically assumes we haven't played any. :/

I love visual novels. Played about a dozen of them (mostly english-translated ones, and a couple without translations which I had to struggle through with a dictionary most of the time due to my limited Japanese knowledge). My favorite by far was the Muv Luv series and I highly recommend the series as the first game is translated already (the sequel is wayyyyy better though). I played Fate/Stay Night of course, and it was great (tried Fate Hollow/Ataraxia, but it is nowhere near as good as the first game imo). I also recommend Utawarerumono for those who like strategy rpgs.

Played the yaoi VN "Enzai." I can't take it seriously when my sister is playing it with me because it's so lolsy. VNs don't really interest me.

Have you heard of visual novels before? Of course.
Have you played one? Yes, my favorite are Higurashi and Umineko series.

My favourite was probably Fate/Stay Night. I also enjoyed Cross Channel and Tsukihime quite a bit.

I play visual novels (both casual and eroge)~ though no matter how much I play, I still get bored. =_= I don't like clicking very much. XD

Yeah, I've played some before, and I have a huge pile of them sitting around on my drive just because they take so much time to get 100% and I can't leave it be until I do.

I've played them, but... they never really strike me as "things that should be games". They're more like extremely low budget animes, based on the multiple possibilities of the same series of events, which is much better than it sounds. Also, most fail to animate most events that are occurring, showing just a basic background and basic characters...
So although it's like low budget anime, it's got less actual animation then manga... which I suppose is part of the reason why they call themselves novels.
Anyway, bleh, I'd rather read manga or an actual novel, or play a real game. Visual novels are the worst of both worlds.
