Some of my personal favorites are:
beastmaster: short and sweat. Very cute. The characters are so easy to love.

beauty pop: shallow if you take it at face value but if you look deaper it is a very beautiful story

kimi wa pet: unusual and very funny. The romance between these two is very sweet

mars: dramatic. I love the romance and the characters, they seem so real

rurouni kenshin: more action and adventure than romance but there is some there. It's also very funny.

the tarot cafe: kinda dark and dramatic. but i loved the idea and the story was brilliant. The characters were real and exciting.

Hiyokoi like Kimi ni Todoke but with even cuter characters, soooo sweet and fluffy
Love So Life as family romance manga, just consinsting of 2 parts (basicly) sweet slow romance and incredibly cute twins

Strobe Edge: cute, heart moving slow love that blossoms as the story goes on.

Last Game: male lead falls in love first, the story progresses from elementary to university as the male lead tries to get her to understand his love

Skip Beat: slow romance sine the main character lost her ability to fall in love due to what has happened to her, the male character makes the moves but still prevents himself to an extent.

Hi! My favourite manga and also one that i read more than 3 times, it's Mademoiselle Butterfly. It's a really beautiful manga from beginning to end And the male protagonist is really cute, in my opinion it's the only male protagonist in all the shojo mangas that i read that truly cherish and love her girlfriend ^^.
Other awesome mangas: Dengeky Daisy, Bijo ga Yajuu, Dear Mine, Plastic Girl, Hana ni Arashi, Kiss/hug, etc
Oneshot:Yumenara Samenaide, Haruyuki Bus, Isshoni Ofuro, That Summer...I know other oneshots, but these are really beautiful!

If you don't mind unorthodox romances or some ecchi try Kodomo no Jikan (lolicon) or Nana to Kaoru (S&M) or Sundome (sort of S&M) These manga are surprisingly deep if you look past some of the perverted scenes.

Taranta Ranta (A lot of people thought this was just average, but there was just something about the heroine that struck me.)
Bijo ga Yajuu
Kiss (Don't let Matsumoto Tomo's art turn you off from her series -- she really has a way of planning out high-emotion panels really well. I always love her series.)
D-ASH (This series was good in other areas other than romance, but I liked the pairing.)
Darling wa Namamono ni Tsuki (Because I thought it was hilarious.)

That other series:
Imadoki! (I dislike Watase Yuu's works and after reading a few of them vowed to never touch them again even with a ten foot pole, but for some reason I really liked Imadoki!)
Hot Gimmick (Honestly if you asked me why I like this series I wouldn't be able to tell you. So many people hate it and others love it to death.)
